Joseph the manager is one of the most unprofessional people we have worked with . My mom rents a house from him . He never responds in a timely manner and even hangs up on a tenant concerned about her safety at there retail property . Even threaten me and said “he’s not the one . He takes advantage of people especially older women .

Very poor communication with this office. If its not the bad service connections during the call it's the receptionists answering the call then putting you on hold for 20 unsatisfying minutes never to return not once but twice. We gave $150 to apply and we deserved to at the least get a response to our application status.

Okay so I read all of the nagative comments about JD Homes but one thing I can say about my own experience is that when I paid the $50.00 application fee for a property I was interested in, two days later they sent me an email and told me that the property was no longer available. AND THEY REFUNDED ME MY FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!!! Again, they refunded me my money and I didn't have to ask them to. So I have nothing bad or negative to say about them.

Was denied for the specific reason of ‘unable to verify applicants’. We both provided verifiable rental history, identification, etc. I believe the 3rd party company did not legitimately follow through with the provided information, as 2 of my previous landlords were not contacted whatsoever, nor my current landlord! Do better.

Who shows a home filthy with broken down appliances, dirt and grime on ceiling fans, carpet need replacing and states the carpet will he replaced and appliances changed one a lessee is found. In that condition , you attract what you display. Price was great but it had " sumlord" all over it. They need to try this ALL OVER AGAIN! Black doesn't mean degiterit. Act like you have class!

I completed my application 4 days ago and uploaded all my documents to the rentscreener application they use. I paid my $50 application fee and followed the instructions to check my email for status updates. The following day I received a status update requesting that I send in my second jobs check stubs, mind you, I uploaded all the documents when I initially completed the application. I gave JD a call letting them know that I had not received check stubs for my second job at the time and I will not receive check stubs until August 14th however I provided them with my offer letter. Fast forward

I applied to a property of theirs maybe a day after it was listed. I saw it on multiple sites and viewed it through Rently.com. After viewing it my fiancé and I put in an application on 7/25. From 7/26-8/3 I have not gotten any response saying that our application was being processed. I called the office on that Monday (7/27) to make sure our applications were combined (because you can’t see it on the applicant page) and asked if I could get proof my application was being processed or receive a refund.
She assured me that she would send me email proof and it never came. I called again on Friday

I recently applied for a property with this company. Before applying, I double checked all criteria with the agent, i asked her about the application process. She told me that they do a deep background check for employment, previous references etc and that it'd take 4-5 days to complete. I applied for the place and waited. A week later, i got an email saying i was denied because I had no rental history. I checked with my previous landlords and they were not contacted by this company. I asked my boss if he received a call from them and he said no. After speaking with them about the decision (i have

The property manager, Jason Scanton exceeds unprofessional. It's actually kind of funny how much he DOES NOT want to help potential tenants. I requested a phone call due to some inconsistencies in my application. Turns out, this was due to being misinformed by the employees. Jason actually contradicted himself during the phone call. I believe once I pointed that out this made him a little upset and would not allow a word from me in the conversation at all. He was very passive-aggressive and ZESTY on a phone call with me at 9:30am in this morning. I can tell he was very annoyed by my simple

I truly did not want to give this company ANY stars considering how they are complete LIARS. I just spoke with Annette after trying to contact her from my cellphone (apparently she has caller ID and didn't answer), so I called from my alternate phone and she answered. She proceeds to tell me that she was having difficulty verifying my employment and rental history. Those that know me know that I am the investigation queen. I contacted my landlord and they verified that she emailed a member of their staff the verification of rental history and they sent the verification back on May 29th

I live in New Zealand now, and sold a house I owned in Atlanta, Georgia. JD Homes Management ended up as my real estate agent for the sale. Joseph was professional, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He sold the house quickly, and was on top of the paperwork and dealing with out of town clients.
At the last minute, the renter moved out leaving the property a mess. Joseph handled getting the property cleaned up right before the closing, and all went smoothly.
Excellent business, and very professional.

Extremely unprofessional company! My husband spoke with a representative (Darlene) on a Thursday afternoon who scheduled a showing for us to view a property on the upcoming Saturday at 12:00 noon. On Saturday, we arrived approximately 10 minutes early and waited an additional 20-30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. We stayed around to give the agent the "benefit of the doubt" as we understaood that things can happen (ex: traffic, family emergency, etc). Once we realized that time was passing we proceeded by checking our phones for any missed communication from the company
