Home inspection was thorough and done efficiently. Every single part of the home was inspected and documented in the report. Every issue or potential issue that we came across was explained in easy to understand terms. Report was given quickly and very detailed. Couldn’t have asked for a better home inspector to ensure I was making an informed decision when purchasing a home.

Tom Sr. inspected my potential house. He was very thorough, especially in his inspection of potential major concerns, all the "big things." He didn't mind questions and comments during the inspection, which I appreciated, and he explained things well. He saw a little bit of flame roll-out in the furnace that I thought was no big deal, but he was right and it ended up being a broken heat exchanger! He is very knowledgeable about HVAC systems, electric, and what is or isn't up to code. My only complaint was that he missed a couple very minor things, but it's bound to happen. Call him up, ask a lot

They performed the inspection on the house we were purchasing and had a huge miss with the shape the roof was in. Looking back he never even went on the roof, what inspector doesn't actually go on a roof? Two days after we moved in, we had a huge leak, costing us over $20,000 dollars to replace. This was not an expense we were expecting in the 1st year of living here. Had we known the true shape the roof was in we would have renegotiated or backed out of the deal. We also had a difficult time getting a hold of Tom to report this miss and for him to accept any remorse. I'd look somewhere else to

Tom Scheidler is one hell of a guy. INFORMATION, INFORMATION, INFORMATION. That is one of the first things he said to us. He started off saying, I will provide you with all of the information you need to make an educated, and responsible decision. & he did that and more. Tom would notice something, ie.) hot air traveling improperly, and he would say, "put your hand here, what do you feel?" You'd state your response, and then he would elaborate why this was improperly flowing, and how it would effect the so given instrument. This type of method makes you think, and more importantly, REMEMBER. It
