Yes, if the lease buy-out fee has been paid. A 60-day notice is required before vacating your apartment, and the lease buy-out fee is two times the rent amount. Please make sure that you reference your signed lease agreement and confirm policies with your Property Manager as there could be unique circumstances.

I wish I had a good experience living here but it was dirty and unsafe. My move in was horrible, it was delayed due to strong chemical and smoke odors and the apartment needing to be fully cleaned ( by me). The property manager never responded to my move in inspection, I contacted her and was told to place work orders.
I received a fraudulent bill after move out and the property manager is not willing to explain why I am being told differently from my move out inspection. I was told to get a lawyer.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found Forest Park Apartments. Sharon helped me each and every step of the way to find me just what I was looking for. I love the trial for walking my dog. The grounds always look so beautiful and the laundry and pool are absolute bonuses.

Sharon and Holly were so great, they helped us with everything we needed to move in. I really am so excited about moving to a place where the staff actually cares about they're tenants. These women went above and beyond, I'm looking forward to meeting more great people in our new community.

Run!!!!!! This place was fantastic until Monarch investments bought it! After that it went downhill very fast! They stop doing proper background checks to the point where we had a drug den next-door and shooting in the parking lot. Maintenance barley came and fixed anything and when they did it was done horribly. neighbors went without a refrigerator for months. There were bedbugs and maintenance didn't do anything about exterminating the common areas even though the residents were using the washer and dryers. I then had to deal with corporate and they were even worse to deal with. They also

-I've lived in these apartments for almost three years. My kitchen cabinets have paint chipping that gets all over the floor. The kitchen floor is made of what is fake wood. This flooring has bumps that make it look trashy.
-my kitchen sink wooded panel is rotting, they refuse to replace it.
-the plumping is messed up- always wet underneath my sink- they've come to "fix it" twice. But it still leaks and is causing the wood to rot
-the bathroom light switch automatically turns on the fan that is good for only a loud noise. It doesn't actually do what it's suppose

I love the company! Forest Park is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The lake is a great place to walk our dogs and enjoy the weather! We also enjoy the park with our family. When the weather is nice Forest Park has grills located on the property for residents to use. And with both pools there is lots of fun in the sun :)

Over the 8 years I lived there, it seemed like they would fire anyone in the office who showed competence and compassion and replace them with someone who showed less. By the time I left, it seemed like they were actively looking for ways to screw people over and get more money. Don't get trapped in here, folks. It may look nice, but they don't maintain the buildings very well. Be prepared to battle heavily for any repair that would take one person more than half an hour to accomplish.

I was laid off from my job over 6 months ago. The office people have helped me to receive rental assistance every month to make sure I could pay my other bills. I will start my new job in a week and I am so thankful that I live here. They have always been understanding and never judged me. I also love my apartment. It is huge and maintenance is always fast to fix anything that might go wrong. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and nice place to live!

I have lived in the Northland for 34 years, and this will be my 3rd apartment complex. Although I haven't moved in yet (I just signed the lease), I know that I will have a positive experience at Forest Park. My son lived here a few years back (as did several of his friends), and from that experience, we all believe it's one of the best choices of where to live in the area. The location is convenient to I-35, yet it doesn't seem to be on the highway. The Lakewood Greenway park has always been one of my happy places, with the walking trail - I am so looking forward to living right next to it! I am

I had an overall positive experience until the end of my time here. I got offered a job in a different city, so I had to end my lease early. Within my contract, it said that had to pay 2 months of rent and give 60 days notice that I was leaving. It did not say that I had to pay for all 60 days and then pay 2 months of rent. Ultimately, I ended up having to pay 4 months of rent to get out of my lease.

Mgmt is terrible. maintence terrible. bugs and spiders and crickets often. old pipes smell of sewer. can hear ppl below you and vice versa. thin walls. laundry washers dirty and some dont work as well as others. i wouldnt live here.

I thought I was getting a good deal when I rented this place. My rent is $610 a month for a 2 bedroom. Sounds good right? Well, they forget to tell you that your water bill is divided among everyone and it cost me and two little boys, who are gone every weekend, $75 a month. Plus you have the added $3.75 they charge to bill you for water, $3 a moth for pest control and another $7 a month for trash, when everyone and their brother bring trash here to dump. Worst apartment living ever! Do not even consider living here! Maintenance doesn't know how to fix anything. They track all sorts of stuff in your apt when they come in! When you are first signing the lease the promise you everything under the sun and none of it ever happens! Not to mention I hope you like your car getting broken into, and getting your gas siphoned! Because the "security" that patrols at night is never here! After living here for over a year I've only seen security once! Just trust me its in your best interest to not live here!
