Services
A & J Electronics Recycling E-Waste, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, offers customized end-to-end solutions in IT Asset Recovery, E-Waste Management, and Electronics Reverse Logistics. By partnering with us, you can be confident that your data, brands, and corporate image will be protected throughout the electronics end-of-life process.
Single-use batteries contain materials that are both recyclable and considered hazardous. At this point in time, the state of California is the only state in which it is illegal to throw any type of battery (including single-use) in the trash. However, just because it may not be illegal in your state, batteries should still be disposed of in a responsible manner since they contain toxic materials than negatively impact the environment.
Due to their small size and rapid replacement cycle, cell phones are more likely to end up in the waste stream and contribute a growing portion of the toxic materials that end up in our landfills. There are over 260 million cell phone users (85% of the population) in the U.S. alone with nearly 1 Billion currently in retirement.
Every year millions of computers get thrown out, in reality the number is in the hundreds of millions. That is a lot of computers and that is a problem. They take up a lot of space in the landfills and there are a lot of valuable materials in a computer. Simply throwing out is an enormous waste. Instead you would be much better off recycling your computer.
A & J Electronics Recycling E-Waste is a privately owned and locally operated recycling company that specializes in the collection and processing of residential and commercial electronic waste. President and Owner, Vince Ibarra, born and raised in San Jose, CA has over 10 years of experience in the waste industry specifically working in the Bay Area.

Doors locked and nobody home at 1:30pm on a Wednesday. Their own signs say they are open from 8:00am until 5:00pm.

After they confirmed a few days prior what their hours would be, I showed up during those hours to a dark storefront, locked door, and no answer to my calls. Don't waste your time, the SJ Conservation Corps is less than 5 minutes away and they'll take your e-waste.

*Won't accept LED bulbs*
Had some LED bulbs left over from a kitchen lighting update. Home Depot wouldn't take them and told me to bring them to an electronics recycling place.
A&J would not take them no matter what I told them.

Dropped off broken electronic household items and battery operated toys three different times now. They took all of it. They don’t take light bulbs or batteries though, so I drop those off at Lowe’s. Simple, no hassle, quick. Thank you!

They greeted with a smile and help me move all the e-waste from my car. All e-waste excepted with no question.

Can be a bit of a trick to find and the parking isn't the biggest, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very importantly: they take all TV's where many other recycling places won't or will charge you a sizable fee for certain types.
