Jackie started her career by graduating from the Artistic Academy in Fairlawn, NJ. She began her training with Tabatha Coffey, the star of BRAVO's 'Salon Take Over', which instilled in her the correct habits of being thorough and always going the extra mile for her clients. Her journey as a stylist took her across the country to San Diego and back to New Jersey, all the while working in AVEDA Concept Salons.
We are an AVEDA Concept Salon & Spa which takes great pride in using AVEDA products for our services. Aveda strives to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility, not just in the world of beauty but also around the world. The best, friendliest, and helpful people!! I haven't cut or touched my curly hair in years. I had a lot of breakage, split ends, and dead ends but Elena was able to bring my hair back to life! She sat me down, we talked about my hair and what I wanted. She was so informative and gave me so useful tips and tricks for curly hair. She was the best and definitely going back to her for touch ups!

For anyone wanting to get any type of waxing here, I strongly urge you to reconsider your decision. I mean this review in the nicest way. No bad blood here! But it’s important that people know what they’re getting into as well as constructive criticism for the owners. I got my eyebrows done on September 4th. I usually go to a girl named Rachel but I found out when I arrived that she had since moved on (good move on that one!) Everyone at this salon is incredibly friendly, helpful and understanding! I have found many salons to be intimidating but not Spruce!! The vibe at the salon is nice, and Jenn is great and works with the odd behaviour of my hair. She's both intuitive and skillful. Also, she and the stylists work well with girls attending special occasions. Would definitely recommend for women, and moms for their daughters for Father Daughter dances.
