Who is Josey? Many years ago, Mr. Wells had a pastry chef who worked for him that claimed he had the demeanor of The Outlaw Josey Wales. She thought he was serious and meant business. The other employees of the restaurant began calling him Josey as well and it stuck ever since.

First time I came here the food was great. I got the meat and three. This time I wanted y try the 1/4 Angus beef burger that came with lettuce, tomato and onion. What I got was not 1/4 pound . Was not Angus meat. Did not have onions. It was awful. Did not eat half. Got very sick on the way home. On top of that my husband had to go get us a refill on our drinks. The waitress did not come check on us but once.

Have dined in here for the first time at breakfast in the past couple weeks, and it's been great. Fresh, well-prepared, quality basic breakfast staples offered at very reasonable prices. Great service both times. Have not dined in lunch or dinner but have been to business functions they've catered and the food has been good as well (home cooking style, "meat and three" type food). Consider this my "go to" breakfast place in the area already.

All in all this place was pretty good. On the inside it's a bit of a dive and can really use a makeover. Old, worn floor tiles and the menus are worn looking like they've been used the last 10 years.
I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes along with mac and cheese. It all tasted great and was reasonably priced. The jalapeno cornbread was alright, but I've had better.
The server was very nice and the food came out quicker than I was expecting.
It was a good experience and will probably return again.
