Who is Josey? Many years ago, Mr. Wells had a pastry chef who worked for him that claimed he had the demeanor of The Outlaw Josey Wales. She thought he was serious and meant business. The other employees of the restaurant began calling him Josey as well and it stuck ever since.

With over 40 years of food and beverage experience from Leonard and over 30 years of business experience from Joy, the two joined forces and brought to life a long time dream of Mr. Wells.Josey's Chuckwagon serves southern cookin' styles from Texas to Tennessee to the Great state of South Carolina.

Was probably one of the best breakfasts I've has. Hash browns were seasoned and grilled with a perfect crisp edge. 13 other also enjoyed our first visit.

I didn't particularly like the meal I ordered. Mat try another meal @ another time. Though the fried Mozzarella Sticks, we're really yummy. The staff & the environment was good.

We ate here, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and dining experience. Our waitress, Peyton was awesome! I ordered the chicken fried steak and the sweet potato fritter. Food was cooked very well. We will definitely come back to try a different dish.

Hubby and I visited Josey's for the first time tonight celebrating our 20th Anniversary and I have to say it was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Great atmosphere awesome staff and amazing food. Definitely recommend visiting them if you have not. ❤️

Our order went to wrong vehicle - 1st time ever to get food from there an man my husband was not a happy camper - we ended up w/2 fried pork chops Mac n cheese an greens so hope someone enjoyed our country fried chicken an 2 pork chops- called twice an line was busy

I had lunch here with my wife and enjoyed the food & service. It was good country style cooking with plenty of entrees & side dishes. The sweet cornbread & baby Lima beans are awesome!

First time I came here the food was great. I got the meat and three. This time I wanted y try the 1/4 Angus beef burger that came with lettuce, tomato and onion. What I got was not 1/4 pound . Was not Angus meat. Did not have onions. It was awful. Did not eat half. Got very sick on the way home. On top of that my husband had to go get us a refill on our drinks. The waitress did not come check on us but once.

Have dined in here for the first time at breakfast in the past couple weeks, and it's been great. Fresh, well-prepared, quality basic breakfast staples offered at very reasonable prices. Great service both times. Have not dined in lunch or dinner but have been to business functions they've catered and the food has been good as well (home cooking style, "meat and three" type food). Consider this my "go to" breakfast place in the area already.

My wife and I drove from Duncan to taste the infamous food at Josey's Chuck Wagon and we were not disappointed. Thank you for a great meal and we will be back soon. Additionally, the service was great also.

Great breakfast! We had the pancake mean and the breakfast bowl. Both were great and plenty of food! The service was great as well. We had a great conversation with Karina about her home country. Very sweet and a great server! We will definitely return before our trip here is over!

All in all this place was pretty good. On the inside it's a bit of a dive and can really use a makeover. Old, worn floor tiles and the menus are worn looking like they've been used the last 10 years.
I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes along with mac and cheese. It all tasted great and was reasonably priced. The jalapeno cornbread was alright, but I've had better.
The server was very nice and the food came out quicker than I was expecting.
It was a good experience and will probably return again.
