I recently moved to Clairemont and was looking for an optometrist to get some new prescription sunglasses and make sure my sore eyeballs (I stare at a screen for 10+ hours a day) didn't have anything serious going wrong with them. I found Family Vision Care online (google search) and it's super convenient (parking is easy) and booked an appointment about a week out.
I had my appointment today and Danielle assisted me with the preliminary check and was super friendly and professional and explained all of the machines and why we used them. Then I worked with Matt who used the data from the tests

What a refreshing Optometry experience! I've been to a few offices in San Diego and I have definitely found my Optometry home! The staff just seemed so fun and inviting, Dr. Langford continues to impress me with her knowledge of eye health and pathologies, and I'm a nurse who has a lot of experience being around optometrist! The office is a cool space that doesn't feel sterile or bland like traditional doctors offices. If they are accepting new I definitely recommend getting in here!

I love everything about the Family Vision Care! Dr. Sneag and his staffs were the best. They were professional, efficient and friendly. They treat you like family and make the experience very comfortable and fun. I'm very impressed by the entire team at the Family Vision Care.

I rarely write reviews but I was so satisfied with Family Vision Care I just had to. My experience was great. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. They are doing a great job at sanitizing everything to make it safe for everyone. I saw Dr. Sneag he was very helpful and informative explained everything to me. I was helped by Julia for my glasses and she's was great. Both Dr. Sneag and Julia did not try to upsale me and Julia even helped me find a really cute pair of glasses completely covered by my insurance! First time I walk out of an optometrist office feeling 100% satisfied. Definitely

Dr. Sneag is the best and most professional eye doctor I've ever had, and I've been wearing glasses and/or contacts most of my adult life. He is an absolute expert in his field and shares every bit of his extensive knowledge with his patients. He cares more about the patient than making money and will steer you away from unnecessary expenses. His staff is amazing!!! Even during the COVID Pandemic closure, they all worked from home, going out of their way to take care of patients. My 4 year old had an outstanding visit at Family Vision Care. When I initially called they were scheduling 6 weeks out, but they put me on a cancellation list and they called later the same day and were able to get me in the following week. Very clean and strict precautions for COVID. Staff was all very nice and helpful. The Optometrist was great and explained all of the tests, what they meant, listened to my concerns and took the time to explain everything. My daughter loved seeing a magic trick and it was such a great experience. I wish I knew about this place sooner!
