Always have had great service. Employees are professional, knowledge, friendly, and truly care about myself and my two dogs. Really friendly staff and they listen to my concerns and identified the problem for my 4 year old yellow lab. They were extremely loving to my dog and she loved them. It's easy to see the love each employee has for animals here.
Preventive veterinary care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet their healthiest so that you and your pet can have more great years together. Since pets age more quickly than people do, it is critical to have regular physical examinations every 6-12 months to assess your pet's health. Annual age-appropriate lab tests, testing for heartworm and/or tick-borne diseases, and fecal tests for parasites may also be recommended for your pet.
Vaccinations are important to be updated regularly to prevent diseases than can shorten the lifespan of dogs and cats. Vaccinating your pets annually helps lessen the spread of infectious diseases throughout pet populations. Some vaccinations don't just protect your pet, but they can protect you too.
Periodontaldisease is an inflammatory disease that affects the gums and bone that support the teeth. Painful tooth and bone loss can occur if this is not properly treated. Bacteria fromdentaldisease can infect vital organsincluding theliver, kidneys, andheart.
Periodontal (gum) disease is the most common problem we find in adult dogs and cats in our practice, affecting more than 80% of pets three years or older. If left untreated, dentaldisease can cause severe health risks. We recommend routine veterinary wellness exams forbothdogs and cats. Dr. Smith has always taken wonderful care of Pierre. He and the staff are professional yet friendly and personable. We just began taking Pierre to them for grooming also since his regular groomer felt he was getting too nervous/agitated because of age. They did a wonderful job grooming him and he was calm when we picked him up. Thank you for helping us keep him happy and healthy even in his golden years.

I recently brought my dog in with what turned out to be a very complicated issue that involved 3 large abscesses. He was kept there for nine days with very little testing to figure out what was going on. Just kept him on IV fluids and antibiotics. When I finally got to visit him I had to ask for them to clean him! He had dried feces on his bottom, crust all around his eyes and his abscesses were clearly not being cleaned or flushed out. Poor thing smelled horrible. Dodge City sent him home with no diagnosis. After he came home I had to bring him to LSU Vet Hospital to get a diagnosis and now he’s

Great facility.
Doctors are wonderful as well as the staff. My 8 month old kittens' surgery was performed excellently. Her surgical sites are healing with no complications.
Dodge City cares for all "fur babies" as if they were their own.
The curb-side service is wonderful also.
I could not thank Dodge City enough.
