Joke of a building, its been under construction for over a year. its intolerably loud all day every day. if it isn't construction, its kids run around, up and down peoples stairs. impossible to work from home in the middle of a pandemic where people have been forced to. Also, every appliance is broken, and the AC breaks every week or 2. Dont rent from here. its horrible. 1/10

Great management team but if you're looking to reside on the first floor, just know you'll hear EVERYTHING that's going on the on the 2nd floor. My neighbor is literally walking around with steel boots or something. I can hear when they are opening their closet or using their bathroom UGH and their conversation. With rennovation and all, I wished there was something that could have been done with the thin ceiling.

The management team never Calls you back, it is very difficult to get a hold of them. No txt’s or calls back. Very frustrating especially when you need an updated lease agreement sent to you, they create a deadline for you to turn it in but don’t send it to you, same thing goes with how to put in the deposit. How can I make deadlines without the necessary paperwork? Makes zero sense

I have never had this bad of an experience with an apartment community! I'm assuming these 4 and 5 star reviews are from hired reviewers... We first moved into a second level three-bedroom apartment at 1140 N Columbus Ave. When we were looking at it, the apartment manager assured us that these apartments had very quiet residents. Then as we were moving our first boxes in, right away, we heard noise in the upstairs apartment. The noise we heard caused us to think that the upstairs neighbors were moving out. Don't go to this company because they don't care about the residents and their needs. The only star I gave is because they actually do a lot of renovation works, so they deserve it. Again, think twice before doing business with Indie Glendale. They don't even listen to understand the residents complaints. Go live at another places where the management is at least reachable and tries their best to help residents with any issue.

This complex has been under horrific renovations over the past year, and they raised rent on all their overpriced dilapidated units during the middle the COVID-19 pandemic (just in time for Christmas and right at the peak of infections L.A. actually) and forementioned renovations. Now current tenants are being forced to empty most of their closets for weeks for the next set of renovations...
The landlords of this complex are absolutely inhumane and no one should rent from them.

Our experience living at the Stanley property has been “okay”. We definitely will not be renewing our lease when it’s over.
There have been disruptions to our water at least once a month, and because of the pandemic and working from home, this many frequent interruptions to our water supply is simply unacceptable.
This is just one example of the many disruptions at Stanley in the name of “renovations”, but other than a new coat of paint that is chipping already I don’t see much improvement to the building.

I came across Indie Glendale on apartments.com not only are the apartment units very nicely renovated but the customer service is great! I called and Diana helped me right away to find what we were looking for. Apartment hunting can already be so stressful but Diana was so helpful and she made us feel comfortable and welcome. We now have been renting with indie Glendale for about two months and everything is great! My fiancé and I can't thank Diana enough for making our renting experience enjoyable!

Had a great experience touring this property, Diana was very professional. Leo the manager also bumped into me and was very courteous and professional. Didn’t have a until available that met my needs but was very pleased to know this building was very well managed. Definitely will go back to this place once they have what I am looking for.

We fell in love right when we viewed this place. The renovations are marvelous! I'm in love with the white kitchen.
Diana Caravella has been so helpful, her bubbly personality is definitely one of the reasons why we moved in! My boyfriend & I adjusted to the move quicker than usual. Felt right at home instantly.
We had a small issue with our sliding door & maintenance was quick to fix it. Other than that, we haven't had any problems.

I am a 21 year resident of this complex. We have had different management companies come and go. Different building owners come and go. So, I've seen it all. So far in the 5 months since Indie Glendale took over the building, there has been more good things happening in 5 months then over the previous 10 years. It looks like this new ownership group wants to do more than collect rent. I'm looking forward to all the new changes coming. Love the new apartment numbers!!! If you are considering moving, definitely invest time to come visit the complex. Tell them Bill sent you!
