I booked what was advertised as a 100% refundable vacation if cancelled within certain time frames. I also clicked on their link to their cancellation policy where it reaffirme.."100%"... with no exceptions within tha time frame I was safely in that frame. What happens is that when they send your documents to sign, there is an included word that says your processing fee is not refundable. You will lose around $100 so be very careful before choosing them. To advertise 100% but at last minute insert an exclusion in document makes one wonder were you to stay what they might try to clip you

In the documents sent to you the policy is changed without a notification or change to their website and there will be a single word insertion that says "nonrefundable" for parts of your payment.

Booked a house through VRBO with them through the instant booking option this morning. Several hours later received a call from the rental management agency saying the house was no longer available as the owner had changed their mind about renting it THIS weekend. So now, one day ahead of time they cancel. The other houses that were available this morning are now booked. There is also over a 3k hold on my credit card because of them. They didn’t care at all either.

July 18th through July 25, 2020, we rented a condo from Platinum Vacations at Beachside 1 in Sandestin and had rats, not mice, RATS, in our condo, 2 of them, killed and removed while we were there. Platinum Vacations was notified the first morning of our vacation and did NOTHING!! This was the most horrifying vacation experience of our lives! I would not reccommend renting from this company!!

I rented long term through platinum for two years. It was the worst experience ever. Things were broken all the time and I couldn't get them to come out until I withheld the rent. Only then did they come fix anything. When I moved out they withheld my deposit for no reason. Made up an excuse not to pay me. And it's been a month and I still haven't gotten my last month rent check. There are so many rental options in Destin and I would definitely use someone else. Greatly disappointed.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would! This company is a terrible place to rent from... they are allowing reservations during a world wide pandemic of Covid-19 even under an executive order signed by the governor!! Are you kidding me??

Received excellent service /support. Locked garage opener in garage one night and emailed them after 21:00 hrs. They replied that night and sent their maintenance man by 9 the next morning. Everything worked and was in good condition in the condo.

Drew Lundstrom will run this place into the ground. Could not ask for a worse experience from someone I wanted to give my money to.
Called based on the ad pictured, which you'll notice "restrictions apply" to pets. We emailed a week ago inquiring about the property and if our inside cat was permitted. When we went a week without a response, we called. We were transferred to Drew who immediately began grilling us on why we wanted to stay at this rental, almost as if we had to justify our presence, which borders on discrimination in my opinion. Awesome place to plan and stay for your vacation. Love the variety of properties to choose from and the staff is very attentive and willing to go out of their way to make sure your stay is special and memorable!

My wife and I have rented condos for several months each winter through Platinum Vacations of Destin for the past eight years. We have stayed in three different units on the Sandestin property during this time and have been extremely pleased with each unit and the support received from Platinum on any issues that surfaced during our stay.
The units were clean, comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchens were fully equipped with dishes, silverware and other kitchen needs. TV's in the living space and bedrooms were a nice touch and the internet service was reliable. The units were conveniently

Booked through Vbro (vacation rental by owner's). Good location and good price. Nice TVs, and beds better than mid price hotel but not luxurious. Good parking but there was no pass code to drive to the resort parking on the beach. Gym and the pool were right outside the door. Check out was at 10 am with instructions to load dishwasher and bring garbage out. This was just way too early.
