I had to cancel my trip within 5 HOURS of booking it and not only did they not refund me the $50 fee but I even purchased travel insurance and they denied me from even trying to collect the balance from them! They are POOR at customer service. Tyauna and her manager Sarah or Amanda were not helpful at all and frankly rude. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

They took my review down, but I'm back with another review. They did not give a refund for my down payment that i made in November 2019 for a condo in Florida, which is before covid began to spread. All bars and beaches in Florida were being shut down around March 2020. What's the point of going to a condo on the beach if I can't go to restaurants, bars and the beach?! I did so in a timely manner(3 months before the booking date) and was respectful. How are you not going to give refunds to your customers during the beginning of a pandemic. (This was in March 2020 when I tried to cancel for a booking

We have rented several Villa Lago(Sandestin) homes from My Vacation Haven in the past with great experience. We also have rented from other agencies and not had the same level of attention. Their units are cleaned professionally, well stocked and maintained properly. The check in process is very easy and the golf carts are inspected before every new rental. Recently we purchased our own home in Villa Lago and because of our positive experiences with MVH it was a no brainer to hire them to manage our property as well. They have managed our unit since March 2021 and we couldn’t be happier. The

Beware! Rented from them for years, Never again! Washing machine was leaking water in our unit-- okay, no problem. Called them immediately and offered service man to come out; We schedule time for 9am next day. Waited until 10 am, No Call, No Show; We called them and told them we were leaving, we WERE NOT going to use the washer, they missed their appointment time and we didn't want to WAIT on them, especially on OUR VACATION, that WE HAD PAID FOR. We instructed them to NOT ENTER OUR UNIT-- they said okay. We come in from the beach at 330 and the washer repair man is in our unit? We had jewelry

I am the owner of the one of the unit which my vacation heaven has took care. My property manager name is Leslie in Miramar beach, FL. She is fantastic and going beyond her expection.
It’s different story that we need to removed property from the listing for family use. But if in a future I have to go back I will go back to Leslie. She is very hardworking, transparent and very good employees.
And I would definitely recommend this Comapnay to my friends and family.

Critical: Professionalism
This company is well organized and friendly. Although I do not appreciate being denied a vacation rental due to my age. It is stereotyping without allowing the party in question to defend themselves. My group and I have always been respectful of others property, so it pains us to hear this is common practice.

Actually 0 Stars - RENTER BEWARE - My Vacation Haven waited until the last minute to break their contract and cancel our reservation, arguing about who was responsible for the lost VRBO fee; and of course the money that was immediately taken from my account upon booking this place needed 3-5 business days to find its way back into my account upon this company's breaking their rental agreement, limiting our time and ability to find a more reliable place. That agreement stated that at least one guest must be age 25 or over. Even though we met that criteria, My Vacation Haven broke our contract stating

DO NOT PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE!!! The company they work with are frauds!!!!!
Initially when I created a booking Through “My Vacation Haven” I was never informed who was going to be handling my return in case of a cancellation. They also don’t inform you that the TRAVEL INSURANCE is absolutely useless and only to MANEUVER into a SCHEME!!!
Unfortunately I was forced to cancel my booking and forced into dealing with RED SKY, a horrific Travel Insurance company (COMPLETE FRAUDS) who I’ve been dealing with for OVER A MONTH attempting to get my money back!
