Myself and 2 daughters went to Luminous for the first time. We are frequent flyers at the Venetian but they were booked solid. We were all so very happy with Luminous Nails. We had Justin, Martin, and Henry ( I believe was his name). All 3 did a fantastic job with our dip nails and gel pedicure. They were very kind as well! Will definitively be going back to Luminous over Venetian….parking is soooo much easier, place is cleaner, and prices were better!!

My daughter and I were initially pleased with our first ever experience here, however, after only 5 days my daughter’s gel manicure started peeling from almost every nail. She was home for the weekend from college when we were there. I called the salon and was told that the only thing they could offer was a repair within the week. That was not possible since she was back at college, two hours away. I was promised a phone call from the manager the next day, and it’s now been 3 days, and I haven’t heard back. I had said we would be happy to return and give it another try, if we were given some

I have gotten my nails done here many times , however today I left with the worst experience. I had white and pink acrylics decided I wanted a new set with gel. He started with chopping my nails all the way down , I like to keep a little length, he didn’t even bother to ask. Then In all the times I’ve ever changed my set they have been soaked off. Not today! Today I got popping them off with a fake nail. That hurt and when I would pull back he said just relax. Then on my thumb it ripped the side of my nail. Some of my nails are sore from this. Then I was charged for the “take off acrylic”

Do NOT get your nails done by Sarah. She's obviously not experienced at all. I got a simple gel manicure. The gel is bubbly and undercoats are still wet, there's cotton ball stuck in the polish, they aren't even and there is black nail polish everywhere it shouldn't be. Luckily they are getting somebody more experienced to redo them.
When I decided to complain, Sarah had a horrible attitude with me. I was kind and apologetic for being displeased and she was completely unprofessional and rude.

I never leave reviews but i felt like this one was a bit necessary. 1st off, my nail tech was rude. i wasn’t a fan of him at all. 2nd, my friend got a regular manicure and there are tons of air bubbles on her nails. 3rd, i always get the same thing done; acrylic gel. i typically go to a different salon though. at luminous, every little thing is an extra charge, and it’s not a small charge either. very basic things they don’t do, like cut down cuticles, do any type of care besides lay the acrylic and paint the nails. definitely not coming back because i can get more done for a cheaper price

I really just feel it’s overpriced. The nails were a very basic design in my opinion. I paid $75, and $70 for a one color gel pedicure. The nail tech was very polite, and so it really comes down to price, it was 145$ plus a tip of course. To each there own, I’ve received much more design and customization for much less, and so I can’t justify the price.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had, and it was done by a newbie nail tech! He looked around 17 to 18 (had black hair and glasses). I think his name was Vector, but I can’t quite remember. He put so much detail and precision into everything, and it turned out beautifully! The receptionist was also very nice. She was a brunette with short hair. I highly recommend.
