Mid Michigan Home Pros is owned and operated by Certified Professional Inspector, Todd Hovey. While working as a real estate agent, Todd was discouraged by the poor quality of home inspections he was seeing homebuyers receive. Seeing a hole in the market for dedicated, honest, and courteous inspectors, he decided to pursue a career as a home inspector himself.
The General Inspection Service for residential and commercial properties abides by InterNACHI's Standards of Practice (SOP). The definition of above and beyond. Todd and his team have knowledge of masonry and construction/contracting and can help you prioritize what should be fixed on a home. We are moving forward with a home purchase after having an inspection done by this group and are using the thorough inspection as a checklist. Todd even put us in touch with a contractor for a big job that we will be taking on in October. Worth every dime

Todd inspected a condo my partner and I are buying. We are first-time homeowners and he was extremely thorough, even giving us timelines and ways we could fix the more minor problems ourselves. He and Aaron were very professional and friendly and we are pleased we hired them to inspect our new home. The report we were given after the inspection was very detailed, easy to read, and included pictures of the various parts of our home. They answered all of our questions! We had a really good experience and I would highly recommend hiring Mid Michigan Home Pros!!

Todd did an amazing job and produced a detailed report that made it easy to highlight everything that needed to be addressed. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail offering his own input and recommendations. The web based report was a great feature and made it easy to create line item specific lists both for our realtor as well as for our own planning. I would highly recommend using Todd for any home inspection needs.
