I am proud to say that I was employed at Pine Acres since 2013. My first nursing job in LTC/skilled nursing. Many people are misinformed when placing loved ones in this type of environment. I had the experience to be a floor nurse and in management. I worked with excellent CNA's, nurses, and management alike. We work hard, we work long hours and we most definitely care about our residents. The expectation is extremely high obviously due to the fact that that we have people's lives in our hands. Imagine caring for and being responsible for anywhere between 15-30 patients. Making sure they are safe

This is one of the best run facilities I have had the pleasure of doing business with. They have the atmosphere of family and provide exceptional and focused care for my brother. They are in contact with me for all decisions that need to be made even if there is a room change. I am so blessed to have this facility caring for my brother. They are the best.

Pine Acres is a horrible place, you could not pay me to put any of my family members in there. They are way too short on employees and most of the people working there are not fit to be caring for the elderly as it is. When you are around someone and it's evident they were recently smoking pot on their break from the smell coming off of them, I refuse to let a faculty who tolerates that kind of behavior anywhere near the people I love and I wanted to warn others away from it as well. If you have family in there I would urge you to get them out and transfer them somewhere else. Pine Acres isn't

After hearing how unprofessional the management and employees are in this facility I would never trust them with the care of my parents. They cut corners and do not perform their jobs properly, which recently resulted in one of the residents recieving a broken shoulder when the CNA in charge of her used improper lifting techniques to pick her up after she fell. If that was my mother I would have her removed from the nursing home and I would be filing a lawsuit against Pine Acres.

If you care about your loved ones do not place them in this facility! I have a close friend who works at Pine Acres and some of the things they tell me are downright appalling. The power goes out at least once a week for as long as six hours and instead of trying to fix this issue the management instead focuses on covering up these incidents. They are also currently twenty people understaffed because the employees are treated like dirt by the management and no one wants to work there. So because they are desperate for staff one of the aids they hired recently is a convicted felon, which they didn
