One of the worst leasing offices and disrespectful experience to people of color. If you want to tour luxury apartments, respect and kindness – ask for someone other than Izabela. I see a lot of other comments about the same experience below...
The leasing agent Izabela was so rude when I went to tour the apartment; she was on the phone while I was asking questions, did not respond well and just responded with short "ya"s "no"s as a matter of fact. When I asked about closet space in a flex, she answered laughingly "no". None of the employees wore a mask!
I also requested for a floor plan and

If I could rate you a zero, I would. Great building, but the worst experience. Isabelle who works at the leasing office is definitely not fit for her job. If she didn’t want to accommodate us or help us find an apartment (especially with that rude attitude she wasn’t even trying to hide), I think she should rethink her career. Better improve on your communication skills, lady.

I've lived in this building since 2008 and each year it gets better and better. When I first moved in it was one of two buildings on the block so there wasn't much around in the way of gyms, restaurants and groceries. Now it's steps from the swankiest gym in town (who doesn't want to work out next to one of the Knicks?), Gotham Market and countless awesome spots to grab groceries or bring a date.
Being so close the Hudson Pier is awesome. You can ride your bike (or CityBike) all along the gorgeous dedicated bike path stretching all the way down to Battery Park. Being able to enjoy nature while

When I was having a look at this place, coming from Zillow, I thought it was too good to be true. In addition, the online presence of the managing company (River 2 River) and of the condo itself raised some eyebrows - I was quite shocked with the many reviews from fake accounts (most of the reviews were made by accounts with only one or two reviews). Despite the awkward online presence, we moved in to the Atelier. The process was really straightforward. The building is approx. 20 years old, so there are some touches here and there that could improve our stay. For example, there was no welcome pack

There are so many nicer buildings to live in NYC. First of all, during covid-19 this is certainly not the building you want to be. The building basically operates as half hotel or Airbnb. It is also located right next door to a Chinese embassy. The lobby and amenities are similar to that of a low budget college dorm facility. There are also news articles about a creepy condo board president who videotapes and harasses tenants. I have witnessed this to be true. Totally unprofessional, not cool living in a building with a creep.

The building itself is beautiful. The apartments are smaller than average but are constructed with good materials and have quality appliances. The residents are friendly but transient. The management company River 2 river has a poor attitude and seems bothered helping people view apartments. They are a red flag for anyone looking to live in luxury which includes customer service. Great building, classy amenities, but a bad management team that provides poor service that kills the vibe. For the price, you should expect the total package.
