Staff 10 out of 10 property 10 out of 10 as well. People that complain about bugs probably came with them and didn't know because the property is super clean. Staff and maintenance do an amazing job with taking care of the property as well. Literally have nothing bad to say about this place. Living my best life over. Keep up the great work!

I had ants issues recently, and after waited for 7 days, the scheduled pest control missed our appointment. I was very frustrated with the situation especially when I have to take care of a little toddler. I went to the leasing office, the manager, Zoe, helped me reach the pest control company, but obviously, this is something she do not have much of control over. But it feels good when you know someone tried the best to help you out. This leasing office is definitely someone you can count on. Soon the pest control comes to my apartment Tuesday, two days earlier than the regular time.

The leasing office was very polite and professional the maintenance crew was also very responsive. My only quam was there are bugs in apartment. We had to hire a professional exterminator who came out every three months to keep bugs at bay. Only recommendation fire the pest company you're using and hire a company who truly rectifies the situation.

We just moved over here and the place was great! Barbie did a great job explaining everything before the lease and also brought on all of the amenities we were promised. There was a bit of a delay for some of the amenities, but everything did get accomplished in a very professional and careful matter. Efficient and fast!

I am giving a 1 star, as there’s no option to give a zero star here. I am posting on behalf of a friend who stayed in this apartments for an year and half. They recently moved out. They got the apartment properly cleaned by a cleaner before moving out. And all of a sudden there was a charge for carpet replacement. There were no marks left on carpet. The carpet on that apartment itself has black threads in it. I don’t know if the apartment inspection people expect to see a brand new carpet when people are moving out from their units. I stayed in Mission at la villita for more than 4 years All outstanding paid on time and did notice for 2 months and moved out in March 30 2020. They deducted $2570 security deposit for breakage and sent a bill for $890 by April 14. Before the dispute, they sent to Debt collector (IQ data) for collection which is unfair. Due to Covid-19 situation, This is totally not fair. I already lost everything and move out of country and explained this situation to everyone who works there and emailed the management.

Centrally located but worst Management. Lots of Pests in the apartments. They entice new residents to join but when you are vacating, they won't walk you through the apartment and falsely claim damages and without contacting you send to a different vendor for collecting the balance and threaten with your credit history will be effected

1. We had paid for a garage. 4 days before our move out ended, the garage was allotted for someone else in the community and we had to park our car in open parking. There was no response from the management even after complaining several times. Who has their pool closed for Memorial Day weekend? It's only the start of summer and people are dying to get out of quarantine, get some sun, and socialize with their friends and neighbors. They apparently can't open it until the emergency phone is working. Someone should've checked it before opening the pool in the first place. And then there's the BBQ grills that aren't working. Wonder how much of a rent discount we'll get? Not holding my breath...

The BAD:
I pay ~$10 for trash pick-up, but it is a waste for me. (pun intended!) The window for your to leave your trash outside is 6pm-9pm MTWThFSu, but what exactly does that mean? If you put your trash out at 6pm, it might not be picked up until 10pm. Other days, you can put your trash out at 8:30pm, but the trash pick-up people might have already picked up the trash in your area and your trash gets left outside your doorstep. Additionally

I have lived here for 10 days, and I am miserable. I feel like I have been taken advantage of. The roach problem here should have been disclosed to me prior to move in. Honestly my brother-in-law and his wife have lived here for a while, and besides someone always being super loud in the apartment above them (2 different apartments in different buildings)...there haven't been too many problems.
Recently, he went to the leasing office and had his baby shower for their first child approved. The activity center opens at 10 am on a first come first serve basis. Another group showed up right at 10 with a couple of items and then left, we showed up with everything at 10:10.

I moved in to Mission at La Villita around April of 2018. Since I moved in, I have felt like I have really been taken care of as a resident. If I have a question/problem, I personally go speak with management and things are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. As an example, when I moved in I was assigned a unit without specific upgrades as previously discussed. So I have lived here a little over 2 months & I'm not sure what these negative reviews are about. I toured & leased my apartment with Jada, who is such a sweetheart! She went on maternity leave right when I moved in, so I got the pleasure of meeting Jenn & the rest of the staff. I always feel welcomed when I call or walk in to get my packages. They have everything labeled and organized in the mailroom, and the facilities are maintained well.

I'm shocked to see sad reviews. I've lived here for over 4 months now and have no complaints so far. Very spacious floor plan, upgraded amenities, super friendly office staff, valet trash, plentiful parking. There's usual apartment-type issues you deal with such as having to share a wall with someone and scheduled maintenance. However, they get your trash for you, routinely inspect for bugs, hold drawings for community events, etc.
