Prior to joining our team, Josh was in a leadership role in the maintenance department for a local airport, and has worked as a handyman, an auto mechanic, and in commercial HVAC.

Where do I start.
Well on day one all of the men showed up completely drunk and high on some sort of animal tranquilizers..I know because they offered them to my dog, who is a recovering addict. Well they spent the next 3 days having a "rager" on my roof while throwing beer bottles and used needles and my nieghbors. (I actually appreciated that part).
All in all I will give 2 stars because they arrived on time and returned my dog.

Quality detailed reports in a timely manner for all the services we ordered. The written information was beneficial and surprisingly thorough including thermal imaging, and hidden health and safety issues. The inspector closed out the inspection with a walkthrough detailing the various code deficiencies and informed us of the many unique factors effecting homes in this region. We are new to the area and the money spent with Vigilant helped us make an easy investment decision. Fellow Veterans take note of their discount.

Kielan was very personable and knowledgeable. He was very thorough and detailed, and it didn't seem like he rushed through any part of the inspection process. As a realtor I've worked with many home inspectors, and I feel Kielan and Vigilant home inspections do a great job. Roy is also fairly funny (most days) on Facebook and all the social medias, so that's a plus. However, I'm jealous of Roy's beard growing ability, so I considered giving them 4-stars, but that wouldn't be fair to Kielen. Keep fighting the good fight...

First of all, I accidentally called the owner of the company at 7 am on a Saturday because I thought it was an automated reception service or call center. He answered and got me scheduled for 4 days later. I was ecstatic, with how busy the market has been. Kielan did a super thorough inspection and presented the findings in an informative but not scary way. I would recommend Vigilant to anyone looking to buy a home.

Roy and team are wonderful. We are very happy we chose to go with their services when buying a new construction home. We were thinking it was completely unnecessary to get a home inspection on a brand new home but Roy was able to find some major issues that would have likely cost thousands of dollars down the road but were instead fixed by the builder before we closed. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Working with Roy and Vigilant remains a lackluster experience with incredibly slow responses, missed items, clearly neglectful professionalism, and outright rude interpersonal skills. They are expensive while having some of the worst service, and never offer deals for their services and won't work with clients to find solutions. Vigilant is also incredibly unsupportive of the community and is not a reliable partner and should NEVER be part of collaborative effort. Vigilant is the worst. Hired them to inspect a home I was going to purchase and they found several big ticket items. I was able to renegotiate and saved thousands of dollars. Who do they think they are? I was hoping they would have taken my money and given me nothing in return. Scoundrels I tell you! And don't get me started on Roy.
