As Home Inspectors we have a fiduciary responsibility to follow defined standards of protocol and document everything we observe. A home inspection typically run 2 to 4 hours in length. Although it is important to know there is no maximum time limit for the inspection. We are not going to give you our best three hours and then run off to the next inspection.

Alan took the time to explain what he was looking for and why he was doing things. He walked me through any issues and answer any questions that I had. He took photos of the issues so I would have references in the future. He was an all-around guy with a vast knowledge base plus he's a nice guy.

Alan was fantastic. My partner and I were already living in our home as renters and were thinking of purchasing it form the landlord. Even though it wasn't typical, Alan was fine with letting me accompany him through every step of his inspection to help me learn more about the ins and outs of the house's electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and other elements. Informative, prompt and very courteous! Alan communicated perfectly with the home sellers to conduct his inspection and as was explained from the sellers, "he was a delight to work with! Very easy and so nice!" There's no doubt that he checked over everything meticulously; he went over his detailed report with us, complete with action photos, and even left us with additional DIY tips. I used Accurate Home Inspection to inspect the house I'm about to buy. Alan was thorough and efficient, and he helped me understand each step of what he was doing. Since I was there at the time of inspection, he walked me through the things he saw that could be issues and explained to me why they could be issues and what the next steps would be to solve them.
