As the photo attached, the Harbor Pointe took all of my deposit, and also charges me $340.26 more. Not only my deposit would not be back, but also they ask me to pay more.
Just let you know that this situation is the first time I have encountered in my life. The last apartment didn't take me a single dollar from my deposit, all of my deposit was back. And in my lifetime, no one ever charges me more than half of my deposit except the Harbor Pointe. For the details, you can email me at hanwy2021 it's a gmail.
Be careful if you want to move here, trust me.

Vanessa, Kyle, Zak, Cody, the maintenance workers, grounds crew, cleaning crew, carpet-cleaning crew, and every other employee I have ever encountered were the nicest, kindest, most helpful, and most understanding people I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. They go above and beyond like preparing a move-in gift bag for a first time renter (who actually did forget that toilet paper is a common feature in an apartment--who knew? The Leasing Consultant Alyssa who helped us was awesome! When I and my mother entered the office she was the first to greet us and acknowledge we were there although my appointment was with a different leasing consultant originally. Alyssa kindly showed us around, was very informative, and extremely friendly! Great experience in looking for my first place thanks to her!

Vanessa was by far the best agent we could ask for. She made our move in hassle free. The townhouse is more than what we imagined. I’m glad we chose harbor pointe as out first leasing agent... From the application process to the actual showing this experience was hassle-free. Zak was on time (which is very rare these days) and responded within 24 hours to my emails. I had two building managers not show up and cancel same day which was really frustrating. Zak was very knowledgeable about the area and the properties amenities were very well maintained. I ended up relocating to Madison for work instead of staying in Milwaukee so I did not sign the lease or pursue this apartment. But if I move back to Milwaukee I know where I am re-applying!

Pictures show an unsecured door that has not been fixed bad management in over a year. The. Neighborhood is ghetto and there are fights and shootings every summer. The hallways smell terrible. Security is a joke. It’s not safe at all here. And when you move they’ll stick you with bs changes to eat away at your security deposit. What ever you do don’t rent from these people. If you do be prepared for a bunch of surprise changes every month on your rent. Repair people showing up in your home unannounced and 3 days late. Garbage bags left in the hallway and did I mention the flys. Don’t take
