Just moved in a month ago and love the apartment! High ceilings, lots of natural light, nice amenities and great walkability makes for a great apartment. I so appreciate the tons of closet space! The convenience of the in unit washer and dryer makes things much easier. Even the hallways feel spacious! The staff are wonderful and very responsive to any questions.

Lived at Lascala for 6 months. Had to move out due to miserable living conditions with train honking and whistles starting up at 5 am and not ending until 12am. I mean c’mon. Because of that quality of life was so low. Building maintenance is there most of the time so that’s fine but outside could use some more maintenance (mismatched panels). Great location but not so great trains.

I am going on my 3rd year of living at LaScala and I am very happy with my decision. The building is clean and well kept as well as in a great, convenient location! Whenever I've had maintenance requests, there's been a quick response time. And the team at the leasing office is incredibly nice and helpful!

Before I signed my lease here I was feeling insecure because of some of the reviews on here. However, after living here for a little, I am really happy with everything.
The building is clean and quiet. Our unit, which is unit B, feels so much bigger in real life than I expected from the floor plan layout. We are able to fit so much in here, so I can imagine it must be amazing if you’re looking for an even bigger unit.
The location is pretty good. We have not been outside too much because of the virus, but pretty much anything you need is around here. The Max is pretty close as well, which is

If you're looking for a place with a city vibe and affordable rent, this is the place for you! These are stand-alone apartments, but they are near everything in this cool little neighborhood. Bar and restaurants on ground floor remind me of the food carts downtown, market near by, and there are a lot of interesting shops to explore. They are also pet friendly!

Building management is poor, they seldom answer the phone, when they do, it is an exercise in futility to talk with them.
For some reason, the groundskeepers use leaf blowers at 8:00 A.M. every few days, this not only destroys the peace and quiet of morning, but covers our cars with blown debris. It is quite disheartening to have your car blasted a few times a week with dust, leaves, pebbles, and other debris. Recently there was a large quantity of deicer applied to the parking area, now this is being blown up onto the cars. This damages the finish, and causes the cars to look dirty no matter
