I recently had twin boys so my fiancé surprised me with a self care day. I was very much looking forward to a much needed mani/pedi. My fiancé made the appointment for noon and I was right on time. The front desk receptionist pointed to a pedicure chair and told me to go sit down. Then no one said a word to me for over 30 minutes....which to me is unacceptable considering I had an appointment. Jen has done my nails twice now and does a phenomenal job! I’m super picky about shape, and she is always so polite and kind about fixing even the slightest thing. Love the drinks and snacks as well! My only complaint is that you have to ask for lotion/nails pushed back and conditioned with a dip manicure which I would expect to be included, but they always work to accommodate anything I request. Super friendly, and a fabulous color variety!

They have great customer service. The lady who did my pedicure was amazing and she listened to me instead of doing the normal massage. The young man who did my nails was not able to draw designs nor could he make suggestions. It took us 20 minutes to get rhinestones together, which one fell off the next day. The shape is too square and he kept hitting my cuticle bed it was horrible.

SO many amazing things to say about this place but I can't fit it into one review. Let me start by saying Bella and David went above and beyond for us to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. I used to go to another salon but they cancelled on me last minute so I called Grand Lux and they got me in immediately. There was no wait! The place is incredibly clean and up to date. I have been to many nail places but this one by far is the best. Pro Tip: Try the Vietnamese iced coffee... it is really amazing. See you all in two weeks. They will definitely be getting business from me and my friends

Overall I like coming here, they do a good job for the most part. My nails usually come out looking good. The last time I came my nails lasted less then a day before they started chipping. I was pretty disappointed. I didn't have my usual guy doing my nails so maybe this person was new. I'll give them another go around cause I enjoy coming here. We'll see how it goes!

Been going here for around 2 years and have seen the quality go down hill. They used to be so good and careful and now it seems to be rushed and not a quality job, yet they do not offer any sort of discount when you have to go back within the week because a nail broke or popped off. Instead, they blamed us for having too much oil for the SNS to stay on. Looking for alternative places.

The first time I came here, I had a great experience. They were new and it wasn't very busy. This last time, I was very disappointed in many ways. They never offered a drink or anything as I saw many others drinking. My little girl was getting a mani/pedi and I did finally ask them for popcorn for her. The girl looked pretty annoyed with my request, so I never asked for anything else. They rushed through my pedicure and I ended up opting out of the manicure I was going to get.

I’ve been getting my nails done for over 15 years. I have tried several nail salons in my search for one I could go to regularly but I was brought here by a family member as a gift to get a new set of SNS.
The individual who did my nails was ROUGH, damaged every single nail bed and almost all of the nails were crooked. The powder was applied unevenly but I waited to see if he would file them down and even it out. He did not and every nail is a different thickness. Somehow he managed to get what looks like nail glue on almost every single finger on my finger print. It is everywhere.

I gave this spot a second chance, since my first time here I could tell they were understaffed. My first time here I was sat with one tech, and then another woman--either a manager or assistant/acting manager--started doing my nails. I came in for removal of my dip nails and wanted regular nail polish and it took an hour and a half. The woman doing my nails kept getting interrupted by phone calls requesting to schedule an appointment. I figured this was out of the ordinary and came back this afternoon for a second try. I am very pleased with my services. I'm from out of town and called and asked if I could be a walk-in and they accepted. I advised that I had a problematic nail due to my previous full set growing out and I knocked my hand into something. They were very patient with me and I was seated immediately.
My nail tech was super gentle and careful throughout the entire process. They have a full bar which is something my state doesn't offer; everything is complimentary from cocktails to nonalcoholic beverages.

That was not fun...
I just had a baby & decided to take my well deserved 7 year old for some alone time with mom.
Ended up spending 5 HOURS in this place, just to be over charged with a semi decent experience & okay job on our nails.
After waiting 45 minutes in the massage chairs we are asked to move to the kid area (totally fine) but I could see the discomfort my daughter was experiencing when getting her pedi done.
The lady doing my nails asked how I wanted my mani done & when I showed her a picture she straight up told me, "I can't do that" when I asked that

Best pedicures in Austin! We love this place and drive out of our way to come to this location. They have a ton of pedicure chairs, and the cutest tiny chairs for little girls too! They always serve complimentary beverages and usually have snacks too. The do an awesome job taking care of you! Don't go anywhere else!!

My sister got me a gift card for Grand Lux, so I reluctantly gave them a try over my normal spot. Now, Grand Lux will be my normal spot! The place is so big that physical distancing was very possible and the staff and customers wore masks. My two friends and I sat off in an enclave to ourselves, which was great.
The customer service was fantastic, and Ryan gave me an awesome pedicure! They serve complimentary drinks (pretty impressive selection for a nail salon) and popcorn.

I VERY rarely post reviews but had to for this place! They were able to get me in on a busy Sunday afternoon as a walk-in for a pedicure and full set. The place is huge, spacious, clean and stunning on the inside. I asked for a water and they brought water, a fruit cup and popcorn which was awesome. They have a whole bar area serving margaritas, mimosas, wine, etc. I got there an hour before closing so they worked on my nails while I got my pedicure. All of that was amazing, but the icing on the cake is my beauuuutiful ombre nails that Kelly did! I am obsessed! And she gave me an awesome quick
