Lee's Nails

This place was an awesome experience on Christmas Eve. They were accommodating to work us in at the last minute and took extra time to do the pedicure right. Right down to color and some holiday touches for tasteful ornamentation

Lee's Nails is very clean and sanitary. Kathy and Sophia are great. I've been going to Lee's for over 10 years. I stop for a few months and gave other nail salons a try but came back to Lee's.

I wish I could leave a better review. The Lady was nice and accommodating but her skill level was low. I hear she has been there for over two decades, perhaps she is just burnt out and doesn't care anymore. This right here is what I paid $35 for. Discolored gel and very messy application

My feet and hands really needed some TLC after months of neglect. Cathy really took her time to make the colors pop and reshape my natural nails so that I can grow them properly. She was very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and she made shower to maintain the cleanliness throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend this place, great customer services & was very clean.

Avoid this place. I had a lovely pedicure but the woman who did my manicure mutilated 3 out of 10 of my nails while she was doing my cuticles. One of them just wouldn't stop bleeding. Now I'm walking home with a band-aid, unevenly filed nails and three bleeding cuticles.

The BEST pedicure I've ever experienced! Kathy from Lee's nails on Santa Clara Ave. in Alameda. She really takes her time, is Soo gentle and gives you the BEST pedicure! You have to experience her work, you will be Amazed and will continue to see her! I will not go anywhere else!

I used to be a regular here, and although I moved, I still come back when I am in the area. I've had consistently good service. The staff is sweet and have a good attention to detail. Yes, if they are busy it can take while (as stated in some of the reviews), but it doesn't seem significantly different than any other nail salon. The pricing offers good value and they try to serve you promptly if you have an appointment. I still recommend these guys after many years.

The lady doing my nails was so so nice and I really wish I could leave a positive review, but as someone that works in the same field, the service I received was very disappointing. The nail technician almost made it seem like my nail request was too difficult and what felt like was trying to get me to change my mind on my decision of what I wanted to have on my nails. The application was beyond sloppy. She used SO much acrylic powder and my nails are so thick and lop sided. The nail extension application it's self was poorly done. Most of the nails were applied uneven and cut and filed uneven

Kathy installed NEW Spa Pedicure Baths, Redecorated the Entire Salon, wore New Pink Overalls, and Stocked the latest Fashionable Polish Colors! Kathy ALWAYS knows the BEST Polish Colors that I should wear!

I felt ENTIRELY SAFE from ANY potential Disease Hazard. I desperately needed my Manicure & Pedicure that I was able to have with Kathy yesterday. I was too long from my last Manicure

BEST SALON OUT OF FIVE IN ALAMEDA
I have been to five nail salons in Alameda. Lee's is by far the best. I got a mani-pedi there the other day and it happened that three different people worked on me. Each one was gentle and efficient and went the extra mile to trim every cuticle and apply the polish perfectly. They also gave me great color advice. In three other salons I went to, which will go unnamed, they just finished my services as quickly as possible. At Lee's Nails, they actually care. I highly recommend this place.

Got a manicure here late afternoon on a Friday. It wasn't busy, and they could take a walk-in immediately. There were a few people there, and they seem to be regulars.

Never been here before and all the other spas on Park Street I've tried made me feel frustrated or taken advantaged of (except Nail Bar - that's an excellent nail salon).

Tara was my manicurist, and she did a great job. I'm meticulous when it comes to cleaning and the polish itself, and Tara was one of the most meticulous manicurist I've had. Normally at other spas I'd have to ask to even things

My mom wanted a manicure & pedicure and I was nervous since she just had a stroke a few months ago. I decided to call Lee's and make an appointment. We were very fortunate to get Sophia. She was very understanding and tentative to my moms needs. I am so glad that she made my mom happy with the services she received. My mom now has a new nail lady and we're all satisfied. Kathy and Sophia are the sweetest people ever! I came in right after work at 4pm on a Sunday and wasn't aware they were closing at 6pm but nevertheless they did an amazing job and ended up staying until 6:50 for me. I received a full set with gel with Kathy for $38 and she threw in a free design for me which i appreciate so much. My job doesn't allow me to have nails so I went really natural and short and Kathy understood and did her best to make them look super natural and really took her time. I also got a pedicure from Sophia along with a little massage (+$5) and gel polish removal

I am so happy I found this place. Probably the best nail place in east bay and I've been all over. I get out of work super late and Kathy was kind enough to stay late for me. She stayed till 930 for me! All other places all over east bay close at 7! She's the best and she did a perfect job on my nails. She gave me exactly what I wanted and treated me like a princess. I'm definitely going to make lee's nails my permanent nail place. :)

Kathy is great. She listen to what you want and doesn't mind my creative side.

I do not recommend this place. A few months ago, I got a gel manicure here. The manicure was nice but took over 2hrs!!!

4/19: I came here w/o an appointment, around 1 PM, hoping to get a regular acrylic fill. I was desperate as last minute plans had come up.

Kathy (owner) told me to comeback at 3:30 PM. I agreed, returned at 3:20 PM to find her busy with another customer. Needless to say, I was completely annoyed because I could've attempted to do a walk-in at one of my preferred salons. Anyways, Kathy was extremely apologetic and promised that

I have been coming to Lee’s nails for several years. They are friendly and always do a great job. It is a small shop so an appointment is preferable or you may wait for service

Quite surprised and impressed. I don't think I've ever had such a thorough manicure and pedicure. Walked in with no appointment at about 7 50 and walked out 50 minutes later looking a lot better.

Awesome customer service. Great experience and for the price its unbelievable. I definitely recommend their business.

It's kinda sad because the owner is really nice and puts in the effort but the people she hires does a really sloppy job. $30 for a mani-pedi. I guess you get what you pay for.

Nice people. I'll say that... the woman who did my nails did a sad job. I'm sitting here contemplating if I should just have her take them off and just pay for the pedi. I'm not wearing my glasses so I'm not sure how the pedi is looking either.

I feel like a bystander to the woman in front of me about to get her nails done by the same lady. Lol

This was my first time coming to this place. I had a family wedding and I had to do my nails last moment. Kathy was so gentle enough to do my nails last minute. She was so nice and so patient with me,she really listened and she did what I wanted;she even did beyond what I wanted she did an amazing job!!I would love to give big credit to Kathy.
I highly recommend Kathy for people coming to this please. Never seen such a patient person like her before.

I didn't read there Yelp reviews before walking in, I was lured by a $25 manicure and pedicure special.

I thought the pedicure was a good pedicure, I am a sucker for a good message, I always paraffin wax hands and feet, there products where good for my pedicure.
It was clean and sanitary, I've been to some
High end spa's that were not as clean.
Cathy did a nice job on nail polish both hands and feet.
My manicure was good pretty thorough.
Shaped my nails very well which I am a stickler about.

Walked in tonight asked for a mani/pedi and brow wax that was mediocre at best. The lady was super rough and disinterested. She did the mani/pedi and left without out a word. I waited for my brow wax and after about a,half hour the other lady said they were closed and no one to do my wax. She did apologize and offer a free brow wax another time but the original lady should have at least said something. Won't be going back.

They take their time and really make the massage great! That's what got me! The mani/pedi is fabulous too. Definitely GO!
