Hi Beauty Salon

Was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the salon. It was meticulous and the staff were so welcoming and kind. Lovely place. Pedicure was great. Definitely my new “go to” neighborhood place! So happy I decided to try this salon. :). Jennifer is incredible at the callous removal. My feet definitely appreciated all the extra care she takes.

So friendly! I had a nail that was affected by an allergy & it grows weird. They were able to fix it, and now it's growing right!

I picked a gel mani from their samples. The nail tech did a different process. Guess she didn't know how to do what was shown, and chose not to tell me she couldn't duplicate the example I picked. Overall it was difficult to communicate with my nail tech because in addition to the language barrier, she also spoke in an extremely soft whisper-voice and it was impossible to hear her. Also they only do walk ins, don't take appointments. So this place is pretty rock bottom in terms of their skills and experience, and caliber of service. I won't go back to a place where I can&apos

One of the few salons in town that does dip manicures. Good selection of colors. Do a nice job.

UPDATE- Helan called me and was so surprised and apologized for what happened. She asked me to come in as soon as I can so she can fix it.

I really wanted to like this place... I got dip with tip for $52. She did the length longer than I wanted and tried to convince me is looked better. I went with it, but after I noticed that I had round and I could still see my actual nail!' The tip and the dip didn't even cover my entire nails on the side. It didn't even last 1 week.. the dip started cracking and chipping. Lasted 5 days to be exact. Honestly not worth it and such cheap quality

Terrible service!! The nail service was fine ,however the manager(Helen) didn't even know what she was doing while giving my four year old son a haircut!And what's worse was she completely brushed me off when I told her I didn't like what she was doing.
Wouldn't recommend her at all!!!!

Karen is always friendly and on top of things. The salon is large, clean and efficient. The pedicure came with a sugar scrub and its great. Easy to bring a friend and not feel crowded by other guests. They also cut hair. Definitely check it out.

This place is amazing. I've always walked past it but after trying almost every other nail salon in alameda I figured I'd give it a shot. Perfect services. My gf loves it now as well and it's our go to spot from now on.

I used to get my hair cut by Hana, who did an amazing job. Now, Hi Salon has just opened back up and the stylist Helen did my haircut about a week ago. It looks awesome! I am so glad that when I decided to go shorter than usual, she gave me a haircut that I didn't regret at all.

This is the best place in Alameda. They offer so many services. My pedicure was thorough and they took their time to make it perfect. I’ve tried most places on the island and this is my new go to spot.

This is my first time getting my nails done in Alameda. I wanted to try something new by getting dip powder. The Vietnamese lady that did it for me was really nice and she fixed whatever spots I told her to. At first, I was sketchy of the process, but I ended up getting the color Pastel Blue and the nails turned out great.

I found this place about a year ago. Although there are a lot of nail salons in Alameda I tend to come back here and get my nails done by Kim. They're not open on Sundays and with my job schedule, Sundays works best. But I am willing to wait for Kim to do my nails. She's nice and does a great job. I am always happy with my nails :)

Had a pedicure done here based on reviews and proximity to my house. I was so disappointed and felt ripped off b/c I paid $33 (ugly basic french). The tech was very nice, but amateur. I went in with a much prettier pedi than coming out of there. The tech didn't ask how I wanted my nails shaped or if the pink base that she had selected was ok. On top of that my french tip was a mess (uneven and I don't know know how to describe it). I'm so upset at myself for choosing to come here out of convenience. NEVER AGAIN!

I just walked out and my pedicure looks like this. Not okay for $28. 2 stars for everyone being really nice, but if you are going to rush it's not really worth it.

This salon is just alright. I went just when they opened. I got a pedicure and a full acrylic set. I ask to see their gel colors but Hannah said that unless I was gonna get my toes done with gel she would let me see them when I was getting the full set. For the pedicure the woman used hot stones. And they were HOTTT!!! I ended up just getting regular nail polish for my acrylics as well because when Hannah did let me see the gel colors they have they were really unorganized. Sophia has been coloring my hair for years because she is the only stylist I've found that was able to adjust the developer so that it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. She gives a great haircut with a lot of attention to detail and is always cheerful and efficient.

I love my manicurist, but I got a gel mani and pedi here and it was really good! The new salon is beautiful and so clean. Definitely worth a visit!
