Black Oak Auto Body began in 1948 as "Black Oak Garage". At that time, Augie Heim the owner did all kinds of repairs from oil changes, to small auto body repairs. He developed a great reputation and was known and loved by everyone in the town. After 31 years of business, he sold the business to Paul Vigilant and Bill Frenzel.
Getting into an accident is not something you want to do, but it does happen. The problem is many people do not know what to do in the event of an accident, deer hit, or even a hail storm. If you are in an accident, and you decide to settle with the person involved, come down for a free estimate. Keep in mind if there is any additional damages, the person who hit you will be responsible for any additional damages until the car is repaired 100%.
Q - If I am going through insurance, does the insurance company need to look at my vehicle before the work is started? A - We will do that for you. We will contact the insurance company, schedule a re-inspection if necessary, and handle where and when the payment will be issued. Q - I am told that you guarantee all work that you have done to my vehicle as long as I own it.
We transformed this once ugly, old golf cart in to a real head turner. We completely overhauled it from suspension lift, paint, body work, lighting, and seating. This cart was specifically designed for corporate race events. It really allows the company to show their brand what they are all about. Black Oak Auto Body is proud to say we love jeeps and are one of the few shops that specialize in them.

I came here for an estimate to install a spoiler but unfortunately it would not align properly and need to return it. Although installation was not done due to this, their customer service was amazing. Honest and explained things! Kept me updated in a timely manner and even afterwards sent me photos so I can process the return of the spoiler! I would definitely recommend Black Oak body shop!

Never had a problem until now. Went in for a rear end incident and left with a broken mirror switche. And a torn steering wheel cover. When I questioned them they said they never touched the door. But the truck was on there property and it wasn't broken when I dropped it off. Long story short. This is my last visit to Black oak autobody. A $35.00 switch made them lose a customer for life. Thanks Ed & Artie. P.S. Thanks for the hot glue on the fog lights. You guys do Stellar work.

We have brought different vehicles for repair to them over the years, and their work is just perfect. They explain in detail what needs to be done, and complete the work on time as promised. Recently they went out of their way to deliver the vehicle to our home when the work was completed to minimize exposure to COVID-19 due to our high risk profile.

My father took his 2011 Ford F-250 here to get repaired after a blowout and fender dent. They did an amazing job. Brought it back after the holidays for something unrelated to the first repair and they were accommodating and friendly and beyond great. I will continue to use them as I have in the past. I didn't think my car would be repairable following an accident, but they did such beautiful work that it looked as good as the day I drove it off the dealer's lot. The guys at Black Oak Auto Body are professional, obviously experienced, and great at what they do. They made an otherwise-stressful situation much easier to manage. I would happily use them again, and would highly recommend them.
