Yesterday my friend and I came for brunch had a great time. Nice vibes. The owner/ chef was great made excellent meals for us from scratch. Start with Italian wedding soup, appetizers Spinach, Roasted Tomatoes and Feta Portabello. Entrees Homemade Crabcake with lemon buerre blanc, Spaghetti aglio olio and vegetables medley. Crispy Eggplant Parmigiana Ricotta, fresh mozzarella, tomato-basil sauce grilled dandelion sausage, roasted pear, melted gorgonzola, balsamic. Definitely coming back for the Salmon

I literally called there to make a reservation. They said hold on and left the phone, where I could hear every conversation they all had, and 14 minutes later no one still got on the phone. I haven't even ate there and I never will because of this. I could only imagine how the service would be if they cant even answer the phone. 15 minutes of hearing their conversations when they could have answered the phone cause they weren't doing anything.

Risotto was excellent and hard to find around here. Roasted red pepper sauce is also very good.

I ate there for the first time today. I had the kale and farro salad. It was delicious. The bread tasted homemade. The service was excellent. My friend had the grilled cheese, fig, and bacon panini. She said it was excellent. We split the tiramisu and butterscoth cannoli. Wow! Very good. I can't wait to go back there for dinner.

Simply the best local Italian restaurant. I've had the pleasure of dining at just about every Pittsburgh Italian restaurant and Gia Visto is clearly the best. As it is largely made to order the meal prep takes a bit longer but the service is prompt and friendly and the salads and small plates are fantastic. I would recommend Gia Visto for anyone seeking authentic and fresh Italian food for a reasonable price. BYOB.

The food was okay, nothing to write home about & definitely not worth the over inflated price. We had a large party in the back room, so I understand that we kept them busy, but our reservations were made weeks in advance & I was surprised at how slow the service was. The waitstaff were very nice, just took far too long with our food & drinks.

I went there looking for real Italian food.
I ordered a rissoto, believe me , that was only rice boiled , some grilled chicken over it and some slides of asparagus. I don’t recommend the restaurant at all.
