Came here for a work happy hour on a weekday. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the influx of people during non-peak hours which is understandable. The beer selection was a bit scarce and the food was ok. The location is great (probably even better if your boat was docked there). I didn't interact much with the staff but they seemed very friendly.

Went there last night for dinner and dinner only, Half way through my meal with my friends this guy comes over and asks for the cover charge for the band, keep in mind we have been here since 5 o clock eating and they start charging at 7pm. after a tiring argument we asked for the manager and he said its a new policy, we clearly where there to just eat, I guess they are hurting for money, shortly after we left and will never return I informed all our friends to stay away, on top of that the food was not that good. be aware this place is a rip off. I have posted this on as many sites that connect

Very good view of the river and you are able to sit very close the water if you want. The food is better than your basic bar food but priced slightly higher than the quality you get. Especially since we were provided paper plates and plastic cutlery. Service was lacking as our food was brought out and served without forks, knives, or napkins. No dinner items available. Expect mostly hand helds such as sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, and a few salads. I would go again but not for a special occasion, like I used to in the 1990's.

A decent place in Fox Chapel. There is plenty of parking. They have a large indoor space that could use a little bit of an update but it does have a nice view. They have a large outdoor bar which is nice. They weren't too busy this afternoon, the staff was friendly and the service was good. One of our beers was flat. The food was fine but a bit overpriced. I'd say worth a visit for the atmosphere, the yacht club is definitely not your typical Pittsburgh place.

The swim club (pool) that I belong to, is attached to this bar/restaurant. Having a pool bar/ restaurant, at the pool, with a full menu, is ideal. The wait staff is always friendly, kind and accommodating, especially Brittney. We often dine here after a long day of swimming, many times with at least 10 people (kids & adults), and Brittney welcomes us, as is we’re in her home. She is especially patient with the children- and attentive- which is greatly appreciated. Her upbeat attitude keeps bringing us back.

Invited to meet some family here for lunch one Friday. It's a beautiful location with a great view from both an inner dining room and outdoor bar area.
I looked through the menu and there was really every type of salad, sandwich and app you could want on a hot day by the water so that was great news!
Our group got the fish sand which, burgers, turkey BLT, chicken Caesar salad, hot dog, and I got the stuffed banana pepper app as my main course.
Everyone's portion was large and delicious for sure. Fries were nice and thin and well cooked (but not fresh cut) and everyone had great

Want to start off by saying I will never be returning. Now I will get into the review. Went here on a Friday night with my woman, I could tell right away that we would be waiting awhile because there was only 2 servers working. Long wait I'm okay with because I had my beer. Fast forwarding to the food, my woman orders a cod filet sandwich while I order the chicken bruschetta sandwich. Wait about 45 min for the food and here comes her fish sandwich it looks incredible and taste very good. Then here comes my sandwich and here's where I lose it. My sandwich comes out and the top bun is still

I give this place five stars thumbs-up, we don't go as often as we should anymore but this place is awesome,, yes if you want to complain you can find something wrong with, but I guess that's the human in us, this is one of the few places in Pittsburgh that offer a great atmosphere good cooking Goodbar service good waitress service, summertimes are awesome outdoors, five dollar cover charge to see the hottest bands in Pittsburgh it's a no-brainer, the owner has done a great job keeping this place alive disco rock'n roll casual music deejays,, a great place to spend Sunday afternoons

This place is habitually understaffed on nights with a band playing. I come here every other Friday, payday ritual. There's more staff on a Friday night with no band. I don't know if workers call off on busy nights or management doesn't expect the crowds... But the nights that bands are there had been horrible for the last two summers.

I checked this place out on a Saturday night with some friends.
Takeaways from my experience here:
1) It's located in the Fox Chapel Yacht Club, which might make you think that it's a fancypants place. It's not. Plastic tables and chairs, outdated decor, typical bar fare, unimpressive beer list.
2) They have an outdoor deck and bar located right on the marina, so you can dine/drink al fresco with lovely views of the river.
3) The food is not great. We got a BBQ chicken pizza, which was drenched in generic, Sysco-style BBQ sauce, with barely-melted (and not nearly enough) cheese
