Leave the Cannoli. on the Attenzione! Page. We started in a tiny storeroom around the corner from our current location, where we moved to in 1986. Though still affectionately referred to as Pizza Palace by many of our customers, the name change reflects the pride we have in the evolution of our menu to include many of our traditional Southern Italian family dishes perfected in our family kitchen over many decades and generations.
A very special thanks to all for the many awards we continue to receive in the Tribune Review Readers Choice Award. Running a busy, successful restaurant requires a lot of hard work from many people. Recognition such as this tells us we are doing something right, but also inspires us to new heights.
Pasqualino's Italian Restaurant and Caterers is busier than ever. Our family-owned business is having its best year in our forty plus years. We have great opportunities for you to join our team. I was the first in my family born in the United States. It wasn't until I was an adult that I started visiting my ancestral birthplace of Siderno Marina in Calabria, Italy. Since many of my relatives in Italy had either visited the United States, or lived here for short periods of time, I was very fortunate to see Italy from the eyes of someone who lives there, and not as a tourist.

To ensure availability of all of your selections, we recommend placing orders no later than 2:00 PM the day before your event.

I’m not certain I went to the right place if this is was a 4.6 looks like. Ordered a pizza, two hoagies and an appetizer for takeout. All of the ingredients were below average. Chicken on sub was dry, sub roll was rubbery and appeared frozen, pizza dough was a frozen shell, stuffed peppers had minimal flavor. Overall just very average. So many other better pizza/Italian option in town.
Service was good people were nice and food was easy on time. I will say that much.

Had to order party trays last minute for a funeral wake. Then had to add to my order a few hours later as more guests were coming. Accommodated my needs so politely.
Food was outstanding. So fresh. Melt in your mouth stuffed shells. Delicious meatballs and sweet sausage. Fresh salad with nice greens (no iceberg lettuce). All packaged very conveniently/safely for easy pickup and transport. Plenty of sauce. My only complaint? My guests ate it all and none was leftover for the next day!

A quaint little family run restaurant with some of the best Italian food we've ever had. The sauce is unbelievable. Talked with Frank, the owner, and it's his mother's recipe made in house! We started with the Aracini, crispy on outside, fluffy and delicious on inside. Wife had spinach stuffed shells with a meatball and I had chicken Parmesan over rigatoni. Again, we can't stop raving about the SAUCE!!
The restaurant is BYOB (know for next time), affordable and very friendly. We will be back!

Normally everything is good. Today we had an extra thick pizza with cheese and mushroom. It was awful. The crust was hard and no taste whatsoever, sauce was different. We also had a meatball hoagie and that was not very good. The bread was hard and something was off with the sauce again. Not sure I'll go back

I was legitimately shocked by how delicious the food from Pasqualinos is. I order the stuffed shells (no spinach), mac n cheese, and chocolate chip cookies. Let me just say if you come to Pasqualinos, you have to get the cookies! They are truly fantastic and extremely affordable, at less than $1/cookie or 6/$5. Nice and chewy, lots of chocolate, and really sweet.
The shells are also incredible! The portion is huge. A large dinner came with 4 shells and 2 meatballs. I did not expect to enjoy the meatballs as much as I did, they were cooked quite well and the texture was great. The shells are homemade

It's not for everybody that is for sure. Obviously people love this place and well I don't. It's a great atmosphere and very clean place. Staff are nice. The food not so much. I found the pasta sederno bland and it had a sour/bitter taste to it. The white pizza had great cust yet the white sauce was bland and the tomatoes on it had a very similar consistency as canned tomatoes. The fried zucchini and provolone stick were amazing even though the breading could use some seasoning. With all that being said I definitely give the chocolate chip cookies 10 stars and you should definitely go here just

We had a delicious lunch date today! Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the half size eggplant parmesan sandwich and a side of fries, my husband had the half steak sandwich and a side of fries. The pictures don't do justice of how large the sandwiches were! The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. Very affordable, less than $20 for both meals.
We would love to come back for a pasta dinner sometime. 😊

We have dined in and ordered out multiple times and the quality of the food is excellent either way. We usually get the spinach stuffed shells and the pasta with crab cakes. The hot stuffed peppers are some of the best in the area as is the wedding soup! The service is attentive, the manager is always rounding throughout the restaurant. Overall great dining experience. Would highly suggest.

Jussst wondeerrfuullll!!!! This would be your classic example of a local mom & pop Italian restaurant that has been around forever, and there is a specific reason why. These are the type of spots you need to seek out, you need to create that adventure! they are well known to the locals in a 10 mile radius but need that additional exposure, an exposure that apps like this can provide! The pasta is fresh and homemade, the prices are cheap and affordable, the service is quick and consistent... what more can you ask for? Between the stuffed shells, the eggplant & rigatoni's or the

Stopped here for lunch on a whim. The staff was pleasant, attentive, and the food came out pretty quick. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the food. However, I will say this... The half size of the hoagie was plenty big enough for a lunch portion and the small size spaghetti was plenty as well. The hoagie and stuffed shells were great. The spaghetti was just okay but mostly because it didn't have enough flavor. It was just bland. Which is interesting because the stuffed shells had plenty of flavor.

YES - love this hidden gem in Penn Hills. If you're looking for home cooked Italian, this is the place to come. I've been here 3 times now with a friend who has been coming for years. His fav is the stuffed shells, I've had them and they are good. I prefer them the next day, I think they taste way better. Everything I've had here is good - I'd recommend starting off with the fried zucchini bites. I believe they are tossed in panko, so they have an extra crunchy taste to them which is delightful. Don't forget to grab some of their homemade cookies on your way

The word my wife and I kept using during our dinner was "solid". It was a solid Italian meal. Nothing fancy just, just good home-style Italian comfort food. I got the small serving pasta and meatball. My wife got the stuffed shells. Serving size wasn't too big. It was just right. Our only disappointment was that they were out of the chocolate chip cookies.

Another good Italian restaurant in the Penn Hills area. We have driven by this place more times than I can count, but decided to try it out as the Verona village inn was packed. We ordered takeout A sandwich and a small pizza. The pizza crust I was not a big fan of but I did appreciate that they had fresh green peppers and fresh mushrooms on the pizza. Since it was our first time here the waitress who took our take-out order really went above and beyond which is what makes this a four star review. She gave us a sample of their homemade chocolate chip cookies which were divine and a sample

Zucchini strips also excellent.
I'm not a big fan of their pasta, but I'm pretty picky about pasta. Their pasta is also not the point of this review. The point of this review is that their pizza is nails - go get yinz some.
