Services
Hidden to the east of Napa Valley's floor, at an elevation of 1,000 feet, is an area now known as Chiles Valley. Formerly known as "The High Valley", the valley is named after Col. Joseph Chiles, who first came to California in 1841 to settle. He searched from Monterey north and when he crossed over at Rutherford, ascended the hills and saw a beautiful, isolated valley, he said "I wish to spend the rest of my days here."

For each of our red wines, we hold back a very small allocation of each vintage for re-release after its debut. Our library wines showcase the continued evolution of our estate wines with additional time in bottle. Governor Newsom has lifted the statewide "Stay At Home" orders allowing us to once again reopen doors for outdoor tastings by reservation! We will be moving forward with appointment only-tastings (NO walk-ins allowed), for parties up to 6 (from ONE single household), or less. Your tasting group must arrive together and be sat together.

What a gorgeous winery. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to find that we were the only tour the entire day! Ryan and Collin were awesome, they gave us a detailed tour of the grounds and made great conversation. It was like catching up with old friends! We will definitely be back when we’re in the area, this place is a hidden gem.

Randomly stumbled upon this “boutique, off the beaten path” winery. Decided to tag along on a last minute Napa trip and was out of the usual spots we go to so we saw “lake views” and were sold.
This was our second and last stop at 3pm- our group flew in mid-morning.
Pulled into a small gravel lot with just a few cars parked so we knew there wasn’t going to be massive amounts of people.
Came in to a tastefully designed entrance foyer and tasting room with lots of space between tables and seating areas. The outside patio is massive and yes the lake views were scenic and added to the

This is a young winery with a great start. The recently remodeled main building is huge and beautiful, and reminded us of the great estates of Mendoza, Argentina.
We were greeted by Ryan and his colleague with a glass of fantastic sauvignon blanc, and then we meandered through the building outside to a comfortable sofa overlooking a large private lake and rolling hills.
The rest of the wines we tasted were all red varietals, and each was delicious in its own right. Ryan and we had a continuing engaging conversation throughout our tasting. It added to the pleasant experience.

The long drive to the winery was well worth it for me. Maxville Winery has a fairly large tasting room with an amazing selection of the finest wines. The outdoor seating area also has a gorgeous view of Maxville Lake (formerly known as Catacula Lake). I really enjoyed my experience here, the staff made it very memorable. Thank you Maxville Winery!
