At Eyes of the Marina Optometry, during a contact lens fitting, our doctors will discuss your vision needs, lifestyle, and contact lens history to select the best type of lenses for your eyes. Several staff members in your shop were well aware that I sincerely intended to use my insurance towards part of the purchase on Tuesday, January 18, 2022! Iggy or someone in your shop should have told me on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, before I finalized the purchase of the prescription sunglasses that I could not use my insurance to buy the prescription sunglasses.

Really bad experience and unprofessional repair guy Iggy. I bought a pair of new sunglasses and they offered to tune up my existing pair of Maykita glasses that I bought there before as the hinge had a slight friction, after 3 times going back I got my glasses back with one leg detached and not able to use it anymore. And the worst thing is that he is just laying to your face and told me I left the glasses like that. Now they offer me a discount of 30% on a new pair. What a joke there clearly only interested in sales and not in satisfied customers.

First time getting an eye exam, first time coming in here with new vision insurance (PPO). I found out I have a stigmatism, which was crazy since I'm perfect. I quickly made the huge decision to forgive them because the whole staff was amazing, pushing me to take advantage of all my benefits, but none more than Laith.

I came into Eyes of the Marina yesterday after scheduling an eye exam over the phone in the morning. Before coming in, I reviewed my medical benefits afforded to me by my employer when I noticed a discrepancy in the last claim filed with them. The claim clearly states that I was overcharged 10x for my last visit and that the rest was either covered by insurance or discounted. I brought this up very gently when I walked in, and the front desk associate, who was very kind, said she could not explain the discrepancy and asked me to call my insurance provider, which I had no issue with.

It was my first eye exam and contact lens fitting here at Eyes of The Marina with Dr. Isabel Duong. The staff is very welcoming, they have a great selection of independent designers. I advocate for small shops/small businesses and this is definitely an office I will be returning to for my eyeglass needs. I've been really struggling with my new glasses from Eyes of the Marina, the prescription was just not right, causing eye strain and headaches. I went back after a couple of months to discuss with them and they were really good initially, did another check of my eyes (although unfortunately with the same eye doctor as before, Dr. Tang), and then updated one or both of the lenses. Came here to see if they could fix my sunglasses. I was greeted very warmly by their receptionist and I explained to him the problem I had with my glasses. Within 5 minutes he was back with my sunglasses perfectly fixed. They didn't even charge me! Didn't know businesses like this still exist. I had a really thorough and informative eye exam, and so much care was taken in choosing my lenses with Dr. Tang, and then my frames with Chris. When I first went in, Chris also checked on my insurance very patiently - I hadn't called my ins to get all the vision coverage info before going in, (like I meant to!) and he made it a breeze. The ladies at the desk were also lovely, and the selection of frames is great. Especially some stunning ultra-luxury frames, which I'm currently saving up for!

Just had my first visit to Eyes of the Marina and it was wonderful! Dr. Janszyan had a delightful personality and my visit felt both efficient and informative. She even showed me a cool picture of what the inside of my eyes looked like. The store was very clean and all the staff were kind and charismatic. I'm new to the world of glasses; staring at screens all day during the pandemic took a toll. This place has the worst customer service ive ever experienced at an eyeglass place in my life! The front desk staff is extremely rude and does not want to be bothered with any task that will make them work. Apologies this is your job and you have to go through insurance and deal with customers.

They kept telling me I had to pay for services covered 100% by insurance, even after showing them my benefits they still insisted I pay out of pocket for items. Went to another optometrist very close by and they had no problem providing an eye exam and billing insurance for it.

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. THEY DONT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. This place is terrible. I brought a pair of sunglasses in for repair. They told me they would try to fix them. Yay! Or so I thought. After having the glasses for 3 weeks with no call to update me on the status of repair. I call them to see and they told me they were not able to repair. Ok. No big deal. When I arrive to pick up the glasses they were in worse shape then when I gave them to them. I made an appointment to have my son Fitted for a contact lens. When we arrive for the appointment there was no hello no greeting they just wanted my insurance information which is fine, but I explained that this is my son's first time getting contacts and he's a little apprehensive. These guys are miracle workers! Called in pretty late and they were able to book me in the same day! How cool is that?!? Once I went into my appointment the doctor and Chris and Sarah all welcomed me with open arms and knew their stuff. The wait time wasn't so long, enough to let me browse the frames they have in stock. Great experience overall! A must go ❤️
