Tires are the single most important safety feature on your car. They are the only thing that connects the car to the road, and life-saving technologies like antilock brakes and electronic stability control cannot do their job if the tires don't have a good grip on the pavement. As the adage goes, nothing lasts forever.
Sometimes it's hard to know when your car just needs a break and when it needs a mechanic. By being proactive when you notice something amiss, you may save yourself a lot of money and trouble by getting it diagnosed early! Our technicians are here to assist you in diagnosing potential vehicle malfunctions.

FRAUDULENT BUSINESSES/SHIESTERS
Friend of mine bought a car through them and it ended up dying on the side of the road the very next day. They knowingly sold him a lemon with a blown head gasket, then when he had it towed to them to have it fixed, they refused to refund him or comp him the costs of repair. To add insult to injury, they glued coins over his locks to prevent him from entering and reclaiming his own property.
This "shop" is nothing more than a front for a bunch of crooks trying to sell off junk for a quick buck. Wouldn't trust them with an oil change for fear of them messing even

Our tire was completely flat as we were driving by with our 9 month old baby. We pulled in and asked for help, someone cleaning up responded so kindly, even offering me a place to sit with the baby. My husband was working quick to get the spare on and off their property. Unfortunately not fast enough as the owner drove up and started yelling at us and his employee. Cursing at him in Spanish and calling him names, right in front of us. I told him that it was not the employee's fault and to please stop yelling at him. Well, he clearly has a thing against women because he saw red. Aggressively

Pima Automotive is professional and didn't not try to scam me with unnecessary services. As a woman going to a shop, they always try to scam us with services that are not necessary. I am so glad my father taught me how to do and look for the problems. These guys are great, small shop, but they are friendly and courteous. Thank you Pima Automotive 🙂

Stopped in for an inexpensive oil change on my way home from my chiropractor. They had a fella holding a sign that said $8.95 oil change and I figured ok so it'll be about $30 by the time we're all said and done because the last time I went to jiffy lube I ended up with $100.00 bill. I had no idea the staff would be so kind and personable. The mechanic brought be back and showed me where I'm leaking oil from exactly (which I already knew) wrote down what seals need replacing, and wasn't offended when I said I have a family friend that is my mechanic and was the mechanic on the vehicle before I

First impression-AMAZING! I am giving 2 stars only because Daniel & Richard were kind, courteous & provided service that was calm & friendly! Thanks guys 👍👍
I took my car in only to have the hood release cable reconnected as my friend forgot to reconnect it after replacing a headlight. No big deal right?! Well, it should've been no big deal anyway. The owner, Bob, not a friendly guy & every time I drive by there now, I will remember his greed & lack if integrity!! He charged me $120, actually $128 with tax on labor for a small job that took 5 minutes!!! As if that weren't bad enough, he

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
The mechanics identified and fixed the problem in a competent, timely manner. The owner is fair and reasonable and commands respect. Their front desk assistant (Mia) provides a great attitude that makes customers feel comfortable and that their concerns are being addressed.

WARNING! RIP OFF! Listen to the one star reviews and believe them.
I took my car here because the horn had stopped working. I asked if they could take a look and see what was wrong. $95 for an eval. No problem.
They call me to tell me that the reason it isn't working is because I need a new relay. It will cost around $400. I approve.
Get a call the next day to pick up my car. Drive it off the lot excited to honk my horn and NOTHING! I call immediately and tell them that my horn still doesn't work. Bob tells me they didn't test drive the car after repair but it was working in the shop and I can

I been dealing with PA for over 3 years. At first for oil changes and once bought new tires. Recently my car was acting up. It seemed as if the problems were the struts. I asked Bob to have his mechanics look at and possibly replace them if needed. Came to pick up the car, paid $500 for new struts (that I figured that I never really needed since I had not driven more than 5000 miles on the brand new ones, but I have a unpaved driveway with a bunch of holes...). Paid Bob and drove off; the same problem. Come to find out it was not the struts!!! It was the rack and pinion, and the mechanic

I wish I could give 0 stars! I was told my oil change for my vehicle which take a synthetic blend would cost $16.95. Well long story short they are liars!!! I got there and was told my car requires full synthetic! My car has NEVER had full synthetic. So needless to say my $16.95 oil change turned into $72!!! Absolutely ridiculous! What kind of business is this! I did speak to Vinny the first time and he was great! However the other gentleman that checked me in basically fed me a line of BS! I would not recommend this business to anyone!

I had maintenance work done to my Toyota Highlander. I carelessly did not ask for an estimate in writing. I told Pima that I needed the car done by close of business July 2 and was assured it would be done. A subsequent call from Pima told me the car would not be done on time and I could pick it up Tuesday July 6. I was not happy and said so, as I had planned a trip to visit family in California. Within an hour or so I got another call from Pima saying I could pick up the car and if I wanted, they could do some additional maintenance tasks. Once again I said "if you think it's necessary

To be crystal clear: $12.95 oil change is an outright lie. Actual total cost: $54.68
I purchased my own oil and STP oil treatment at their recommendation, however, then I was told I had to pay $20 for labor, $4.95 for an oil filter, etc.
So I spent $25 at Auto Zone and paid $29.37 for the oil change. It makes no sense. The owner tried to give me an excuse that my car is old and needs 10w30 oil, however, I provided them with 5 quarts of oil, everything except the oil filter. I had to ask for the remainder of my oil back too actually. I saw the owner try to hide it when the mechanic Vinny had left

Extremely unprofessional owner:
We brought our car in late afternoon on a Monday to be inspected on account of overheating problems. We were told it wouldn't be looked at until Tuesday afternoon and we told them that's not a problem and it was not a rush. We hadn't yet heard back from Pima Automotive by that Thursday afternoon so we called them for an update. They told us they had still not looked at it but would be able to the next morning (Friday). We finally get a call Friday telling us the car needs a new radiator and hoses for $800 as well as some work on the power steering

Leave it be said, my personal recommendation is to avoid this place, I posted a truthful review about their practices and they had a lawyer contact me lol. This place is a joke and the owner is very rude and the most unprofessional business owner I have ever met. But go ahead, take your vehicle there and form your own opinion lol

If you want an oil change, I strongly suggest that you make an appointment a day or two before hand and then confirm that appointment about an hour before your scheduled time just to be safe. They sometimes turn customers away due relatively high volume during days that they offer oil change coupon discounts.

I went in with the expectation that this was a legit business. That they would honor their commitment to fixing the issues I was having with my vehicle. It was supposed to be a simple fix with a new gasket for a leaking oil problem. They convinced me that they could fix it and that they would back their work.
Not the case in either situation. Initial estimate was $170. They called about an hour later and said that if I wanted to truly fix the issue that they would have to replace the other gasket which was the actual oil leak issue. When I asked about the cost they said that it would be another

I stopped in between appointments hoping to get an oil change. There were two open bays and a young lady standing, folding towels in the right bay. Since she seemed not to see me and didn't greet me, I pulled in partially and rolled the window down to ask if they had time to do an oil change. She said she would check with another employee. She comes back toward my vehicle with two gentleman. An older, gray haired gentleman told me to pull out because I could have killed someone. The bay doors were open, no danger signs, and no one was in the area. I told him I pulled in to ask the young

I recently moved to Tucson and was looking for a new reliable mechanic. After driving by and also receiving an ad in the mail I stopped in and spoke with them about what I wanted to add in addition, very reasonable and happy with their service and said Ill be back. Had my air conditioning seviced next, happy again. Another oil change same as first. Went in to have them check oil level (owner), this is where things changed. He said it's 1qt down and $8.99 for the oil, oh no, you're charging for more oil which you originally didn't fill to top? This wasn't the $8.99 oil change
