They installed a complete a/c system in my pickup last July. They supplied the fittings to charge the system. When I called to find out what was happening I was told fittings went bad and they will get the manager. The manager tells me 218.00 to fix. I told the manager they supplied parts ( fittings) . To make a long story short I had to prove this. They had the receipt in front of them. No one should have to go thru this. Most likely will not deal with them again unless it is warranty

If you try one time oil change here you will be always customers for any car issue here. DeAngelo was helping me for check in and he was friendly and professional check in my car and explained every details for my service. they have sitting are with complimentary soda, coffee and cookie.

Update: I was picked up by their shuttle once my service was completed. Another employee explained that the man who'd originally made my appointment was in training and apologized for what happened. They ended up comping my service after going through the results and inspection with me. While the initial experience was disappointing, I am impressed with their efforts to make it better.

I received a free oil change and tire rotation coupon from AAA when they came out to change my battery for this shop. I was happy that it was close to me and I saw they had many good reviews, so I figured I would give them a try. It was a pleasant experience all around. Staff were friendly and engaging and gave me updates and timelines for items I know are coming due on my car. Gave me fair estimates in the work and a sense of relief knowing it was not as bad as I thought. I feel like they work from a place of honesty and integrity. All things I want from my mechanic. I will be back for sure.

Came to Borst to get another quote for a water pump leak repair. Offered a better price than competitor. Were friendly in the interaction and did honest work. Berto was super nice and drove me home! They did want to replace a serpentine belt that didn't necessarily need to be replaced under a specific condition. Cookies are great as well

This was my first time at Borst Automotive and it was wonderful! The place is as clean as a restaurant and offers a wide variety of snacks to enjoy while waiting. The manager and other mechanics were courteous and professional. I had to drive 45 minutes to get there but it was well worth it. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience. This is most definitely NOT the most affordable shop in town, but they're honest, they do good work, and the staff and facility are pleasant to be around. I really appreciate that Borst offers a shuttle both to and from wherever you need to be when you bring your car in.
I brought my previous car to Borst many times for different repairs and always had a good experience. They would frequently provide me with a printout of my inspection complete with pictures. Now, they have a fancy digital inspection report for you, but it costs extra, and I'm not sure there is any option to waive that

Friendly, professional and I’ll be going back! I use a repair shop down the street from my house that we like, because it is convenient. Borst automotive is almost 25 minutes from my home and after yesterday’s service I will be driving all the way there for the services. Scott is who helped me and was very thorough and knowledgeable. Not the best with estimates and prices. I don't get a sense they r honest too and would rather rip people off. My family paid a lot of money to repair our Jetta, only to have it break again within weeks. They said it was an unrelated problem but why didn't they find this issue before? They promised the issue was solved after the first repair but it never was and they continue to deny it. Surprised this horrible place is still in business. There are other honest repair shops out there and this is NOT one of them.

I had a great experience Borst. They were very thorough in explaining what work my car did or did not need. I appreciated the job list they emailed to me with pictures and a full price estimate. They are very upfront w/ all aspects of the work. They also kept me up-to-date on the status of my car, especially because the work took a bit longer than anticipated. I went back when my old truck had failed emissions because the Check Engine light wouldn't come on before starting. Borst is listed as one of the shops that participated in the repair program offered by the State of Arizona. So I decided to go back to them.
I first went to the shop, describing what the problem was. They checked the truck, and found the light was, indeed, lit. Of course, they charged me nothing for it. So I go back to the emissions place, and what happens? The

After the terrible experience to top things off I get a call asking me what happen. After explaining the whole ordeal this guy says he'll call me back in a few days. He never called me or left a message as he states he did on the reply that was written. Instead I get two coupons for a free oil change. I took my car to Borst Automotive for a second opinion on three major maintenance recommendations I had received from the dealer's service shop following an oil change. Borst's quote for the work was 2/3 the dealer's quote. Upon completing their independent diagnostic inspection, Borst's assessment was that none of the work was required. I truly appreciate their honest assessment and I will surely go back to Borst when maintenance work is indeed required.

Ignore some of the poor reviews, those are customers unfamiliar with automobile preventative maintenance. These are good, hard working staff. They give great deals on both pm and mechanical work and can provide timely service on your car or truck.

I called and scheduled an appointment for 8 am on a Thursday morning. The work wasn't completed until 1:30 that afternoon. Really? How hard is it to change someones oil? Especially after I asked Jason on the phone initially how long it would take and he said only an hour and a half. Timely? Not so much. Ruining my whole day? Yes it did.
I went to these guys after getting the $19 Groupon deal for an oil change and 30-point inspection. Got the oil change (supposedly), but when I walked in to get my keys and receipt and go, no one

Borst has not completed the work in a timely fashion per their estimates---I expect when a shop says its only a few hours of work and ask me to show up at 7:30am, say they'll be done by 5pm, they complete the job in the same day and don't force me to find alternate modes of transportation.
Borst has used parts that have not been OE per their promise to me, they have used inferior parts and then charge a 600% markup on the parts which they justify as their "warranty". Although they "warranty" their
