10 out of 10 would recommend Briarwood Apartments! My experience has been nothing but positive! The staff is super professional, the maintenance is very responsive and the neighborhood is amazing! I moved into Briarwood in 2019 as a graduate student at UW-Madison. I had no issues whatsoever getting to campus because the bus line was right in front of the building! I thought with the trains being right across the street from the apartments it would be loud but I couldn't hear a thing. You will hear jets occasionally from time to time, but that shouldn't stop you from coming here! I did leave Briarwood

Absolutely horrible management. Had 4 different managers in the four years I lived there. I would explain many problems we were experiencing and they said they would fix them. I would call back after a month because problems wouldn’t be fixed and it would be a new manager saying sorry we had no idea the last manager left. Revolving door of excuses. We were promised new carpet after four years and instead they just decided to not renew our lease and didn’t repair. Richard was last acting manager and acts as if he is their to help but really has no actual clue of what’s going on at the buildings

I truly enjoyed my time living at Briarwood. I found the rent to be incredibly reasonable, and the free underground parking is a major plus. The biggest plus however, in my opinion, is the customer service, and the staff. Richard was a great assistant property manager, but now that he's taken over I can only see things going up. The office staff is incredibly helpful, even in less than ideal situations for them. I needed to find someone to take over my lease as I was abruptly moving cross country for a new job, and they didn't hesitate to help me as best as they could, and we got the unit rented

I've lived in the Briarwood Apartments for a few years now and can honestly say it is a great place to live.
The apartments are at a good $/sq foot ratio, there's underground parking, plenty of above ground parking, a pool, access to bus lines, close to bike paths. Honestly, the location is amazing - close to several grocery stores, parks, Atwood/Willy Street, and downtown. Just a short drive to a couple highways.
The best part about living here is the current office staff. They are incredibly professional, courteous, and you can tell they care about their tenants. They are quick to respond to

Living here made my last year in Madison wonderful. The neighbors are pretty awesome and the management knows how to communicate with the residents. My requests for service were always handled within 24 hours and there's always management in the downstairs office! I miss WI but I really enjoyed living here.

My experience living at Briarwood was very positive, mostly due to the current management staff. Richard, the property manager, is very responsive and worked quickly to answer my questions and have any maintenance issues fixed quickly. I loved my apartment unit, which was newly renovated before I moved in.

One of the worst management. Rude and bald fool Zack the assistant manager and ciggy smoke smelly Molly.
They never pick up the phone, never answer any questions nor solve any issues.
When you move-out from this apartment, be ready to pay hefty fines.
Extremely racist management here.
Also, the neighbors are very shady, partying whole night, jump from the top apartment and never allow to sleep.
I wish I could give negative five(-5) stars to this freaking apartment.
I will not recommend this even to my worst enemy.
