While there are many things that set us apart, the thing our loyal clients say they like most is the feeling of family. For over 20 years, we've been doing more than delivering exceptional medical care to local dogs, cats, exotics and farm animals. We've been building relationships. We believe that's the most important component of quality veterinary care.
Over the past two decades, we've developed innumerable friendships and forged countless bonds. We've watched families grow and served generations of pets. We genuinely love our clients and our patients and we are passionate about helping the animals of Pipe Creek and Helotes enjoy long, incredible lives.

Dr. Sprague believes that there is nothing more important than nurturing the human-animal bond and promoting it's positive effects for both people and pets on their health, mood, and well-being.
Even as a young girl she was fascinated by animals and the joy that filled her when she was around them, often sneaking into the neighbors garage to play with the litter of kittens, or running around the couches in the living room with her first dog Josie, a doberman-basset hound mix.She never lost that love for animals and in 2008 graduated Magna Cum Laude with her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.

What does it take to keep a companion animal happy and healthy? Well, beyond the basics, like food, water and shelter, it takes a partnership and a commitment. It takes a team of skilled veterinary professionals and loving pet parents working together toward a common goal. It takes exceptional medicine, modern treatment options and a well-designed system of care.

Called and had a puppy check on my dog they did X-rays and weren’t gonna even show us them we had to ask for them and I asked if my dog were to need an emergency c section if they would do it. They said yes as long as it is during business hours. Great! Called them at 4:30 because my dog had complications (they close at 5:30) was told they would not see my dog..recommend taking her all the way to sa even though I had asked multiple times about them doing it prior to even taking her to them. Never again will I do business with them.

What an unfortunate experience. They cancelled our first appointment on us and rescheduled for the following week. Went in for the procedure to be done. Went to go pick him up only to find out that they only did an evaluation. I had withheld his food since the night before only to have them "evaluate" him so we would have to come back another day! I was extremely disappointed in the way it was handled. I requested to speak with the doctor and she refused to call me. Would never recommend this veterinarian to anyone!

A friend that has fostered about 100 dogs recommended them, granted they were about 45 min drive away. However, you can tell the staff are animal loves and the Vet especially. i've been to other vet clinic where the staff just seems very cold and numb especiall when someone's loved one has to be put down. nice to see a change and I will doing my business with them going forward.

When my dog went to Pipe Creek Animal Clinic he was unable to walk because his knees needed surgery. Everyone there treated him as if he was one of their own. After 2 surgeries (one for each knee) he is doing great and walking normally. I am very thankful for what they did for him. I highly recommend them to treat your animal. R.A.S.

I trust the Vets and staff with this VERY SPECIAL PART OF MY HEART! Little Lucy is so well cared for. At 8 weeks old, Lucy was very ill. Dr. Jenny Sprague did various tests until she was able to determine the cause of this Precious little pup's sickness. Within 2 days, our Lucy was a Happy and Healthy Puppy. We feel so confident in knowing that Lucy is in the best of care. The Staff and Vet Techs are all so Professional and Caring at the same time, not to mention the Friendliness that is always shown. I would recommend this Clinic to anyone that is looking for Special Care for their Loving Pet
