Under new ownership. The view was perfection and the bed was very comfortable. I slept so sound I woke up and wasn't sure where I was and laughed. I opened my french doors and observed a breathtaking view, well worth the extra charge. This hotel has the best view in all of Point Arena. The coffee was excellent and let me tell you that was a first. The new owners kindness and energy were a welcome treat. I will book again. Here's a couple of pictures. This isn't even the best view. As I forgot to take a picture of it. LOL! But here's a picture I took from the nearby pier of the northern coastline

Discrimination against persons with disabilities Don't stay at this hotel. Appalling behavior, I'm writing this review based on the Appalling behavior from the hotel staff and to prevent further discrimination against persons with disabilities. I was then told regardless if it's a service dog I was restricted to only pet friendly rooms with no view and then told the hotel had no rooms for my service dog. all that allow pets are taken. I explained I don't have a pet. I explained It's not a persons with a disability fault and Andrew the hotel's manager Andrew was extremely invasive

Had a 2 night stay at this Inn, while We found the room to be a bit out of date but clean, the location is ideal to unplug & unwind with a view of the beach. The Innkeeper was friendly, efficient & infomitive!! We feel that this community is doing the Innkeeper an injustice by not having consistent quality food or service.
Point Arena the town as a whole lacks that welcome feel & choice of restaurants. We were referred to ones in the next town of Gualala (15-20 min drive on Hwy 1 South) horrible food & rude service in most the shops. We were turned down for pick up night before and dine in all

Great location and clean area. Pretty basic hotel with a terrible bed. The checkout procedure is a little fraught and I got yelled at for letting them know i was leaving - kind of my fault since it says only contact us for emergencies but I didn't know where to leave the keys (old school style).
But if you like coastal views and open spaces it's pretty nice.

The place was very clean, the view from the room was amazing, and the bed was very comfortable and there are some snacks for breakfast in the morning. Apart from that, the wifi did not have a good signal in our room, which was disappointing, as we needed to work on that day. But the overall experience was pretty good.

Cute place with great views! They have jacuzzi tubs and comforting beds. The fireplace is "eco" friendly (electric) and the place is overall cozy. I put 4 stars because the carpet seems like it hasn't been properly cleaned in quite some time... there were some spots in the jacuzzi jets and in the bottom of the tub. Besides that it is a beautiful cozy place.

Adorable inn with a quaint, rustic charm. Make sure to get a room in one of the oceanfront buildings, to maximize the romantic views. Sunset is breathtaking! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have a nice selection of local wines you can pick up for decent prices at the front desk. They also have (for sale) handmade bath salts and bath bombs for the in-room Jacuzzi tubs!
