Services
Our services include a comprehensive vision and eye health examination. This examination is designed to detect a wide range of problems affecting vision function, such as blurred vision or eye discomfort. Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. At Eyesite we incorporate computerized technology to assist the evaluation of spectacle prescriptions, peripheral vision, intraocular pressure, and eye health.
We provide comprehensive cornea and contact lens care. After an eye examination we evaluate your eyes and determine which type of contact lens will best suit your individual needs. We prescribe all major brands of soft and ridged contact lenses. Additionally, we prescribe custom designed contact lenses for special needs as well as special eye problems.
Vision in the broadest sense, is the global ability of the brain to extract, process and act on information presented to the eye.
This complex process can be thought of as three major but related areas: visual acuity, which is largely dependent upon refractive status and eye health; visual efficiency skills, representing eye focusing, teaming, and tracking skills; and visual information processing, representing the ability to recognize and discriminate visual stimuli and to interpret them correctly based upon previous experience.

Dry Eye Syndrome occurs when the normal flow of tears over the eyes is interrupted, or the tear film is abnormal. In many cases, dry eye syndrome is a life long problem. You can relieve the symptoms, but not cure the original cause. Artificial tear lubricants or in some cases blocking the tear ducts will concentrate the limited tears that are available.

I saw Dr Rosenblum on my last visit. He was filling in for Dr Shane (the Dr I usually see). Both men are brilliant! I was pleasantly surprised with Dr Rosenblum, who is so knowledgeable and I'm so thankful for his patience with me! I could definitely see the wisdom he has in eye care, especially when he reviewed, explained, and layed out the plan to fix my contact issue. I'm most definitely sure Dr Shane would have treated the issue quite similarly. I'm bummed to say that after a few years of trusting my eye care to and buying my eyeglasses from the EyeSite in Newport Coast, I won't be going back. Last October I purchased a pair of expensive ic Berlin glasses at this location. They were constructed so that every time I took them off, my hair was pulled out, and one of the arms fell off repeatedly. At that time I had brought them in to EyeSite for repair, but the same problems persisted. I simply chose to put the glasses away and wear my old pair, as I thought the glasses were a lost cause. This place is not cheap but because we have patronized it for years we like to stay in the neighborhood. I have been waiting 3 1/2 weeks for glasses needed badly Got my grandsons in 7 days at Cosco for half the price. Have heard a different story everyday I call. My husband has no glasses to wear. This is ridiculous.

I am a person all about reviews and ratings. That is how I make my selection. After reviewing the reviews for Eyesite Optometry I thought to myself "Ok this is the one". Unfortunately I did not receive the service that is highly talked about. As my call was answered I mentioned I found them through yelp and I am calling to schedule a first time appointment. Nicole placed me on hold for five minutes, when she returned she answered as if she was answering a new phone call. Seems to me she forgot she put me on hold. Being new to area, I needed to find an Optometrist for routine exams and glasses. After reading all the amazing reviews on Yelp, I decided to go. Let me say the Yelp reviews were 100% true. Had a great experience everyone in the office was so kind and helpful. We were seen in a timely matter We are a family of 4 and that is including my two daughters age 5 and 7. The staff was amazing with all of us but especially with my kids and I greatly appreciate all the kindness and patience that was given with my daughters. We are so happy to have found this office I highly recommend it. We never felt uncomfortable picking frames was refresher as well at my previous Optometrist I also felt they were a bit pushy trying to get me to purchase the most expensive frames I did not feel this way at

After getting an eye exam and one pair of distance lenses created at the Newport Beach location, we returned with new frames to get a pair of reading glasses created. Upon arrival we were told that the 2nd prescription was mistakenly never entered into their system and that the optometrist was out of the office at an 8 day wedding, so it would be another week before the lenses could be created. We then called the Cerritos location and spoke to the manager, Sarah. We conveyed to her that we were upset from not only wasting a trip and our time, but also the fact the 2nd prescription was never entered

I was in the neighborhood and needed a nose pad for my current glasses. The store was closed 10 min before I walked up but they still opened the doors. The salesman was able to help me very quickly and was very gracious. The little things like this make me want to try them out as a new optometrist. Thanks for the help.

I highly recommend eyesite optometry. I been a patient of theirs for almost 30 years. They are very knowledgeable and caring.
