We're easy to find! Our eye clinic in Cerritos is conveniently located in the Cerritos Plaza - the same shopping plaza as Ralph's and Wells Fargo, across from The UPS Store and near the Bowlero Cerritos bowling alley. We are just south of the 91 freeway near the intersection of Carmenita Road and South Street.
Both of our optometrists perform comprehensive eye exams and treat many common eye conditions including dry eyes, eye infections, eye allergies and diabetic retinopathy. Our eye doctors offer eyecare services in three languages: English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. Our vision and eyecare clinic is conveniently located in Cerritos, CA.

Periodic eye exams are an important part of your health. Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms. As a result, many patients are often unaware that problems exist. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems are important for maintaining good vision and eye health, and when possible, preventing vision loss.
Contact Lens Exams at Modern Eyes Optometry include the same level of service as our Comprehensive Eye Exams but with the additional measurements and doctor evaluation required to confirm that your eyes are suitable for contact lens wear and to generate your contact lens prescription. The result is minimized risk for eye infection, with comfortable and clear vision.

Responsive! You can book online and the staff and optometrist is super friendly and down to earth. Shout-out to the staff who helped me pick my frames and also accommodated me last minute!!! Oh, and for those who are concerned about Covid protocols, they are on top of it. The positive reviews were very accurate! Glad I took a chance on them 😁

With Covid cases still being very high, I was hesitant to go to any doctor during this time. But my prescription had expired and I needed to order more contacts. I've never been here before but came to the shopping plaza often so I decided to call them and I'm so glad I did.
I've honestly never really loved any of my other optometry spots so I would switch every other year. But I have to say that I've now found my go to place! Dr. Chen and Candace were very thorough in helping my daughter. My child had an ongoing issue since last year where sometimes she can see and sometimes she can't. They tested her again this year, dilated her pupils as an additional test, and it seems she hasn't grown out of it. It's great that the new glasses are covered! Four of our family members go here for the expertise, convenience, availability, friendly service and affordability.

Dr. Jill Chen is awesome. Our family of 5 all go here and grandma too. I got some really comfy Prada bi-focal glasses a year ago that I really love. You can't even tell are bi-focal. But sometimes I don't want to wear glasses and reading is getting tougher. Dr. Chen said it's that age so she introduced me to bi-focal contacts Excited to try these out so I can read again. Service and prices are great here

Great office to your annual vision test for us contact/ glasses users! Great customer service from the receptionist to the Dr. they were very nice and patient even though I was a few minutes late. My baby was crying and the Dr let me feed him and hold him during the exam and was very patient! The exam was quick and easy.

Dr. Chen was professional and provided great teaching and recommendations. She was very personable, patient and friendly with both my mother and I as we asked questions and about other options. She will work with you to provide the best options for your vision. The staff were also very polite, friendly and professional. They also had great personalities and provided their own expertise in choosing different options for your frames and lenses.

With all the years I have being going to different optometrist.. I can say this has been the best. Very smooth and easy. The staff and the Dr are nice and very friendly. I wasn't bombarded with sales pitches or pushed for things I didn't want or need.
I was also in a pinch and they gave a me a same day appointment which was an added bonus. I would have gave them a 5 star review regardless.
Definitely give this place a try.

I have been wearing glasses for a few years now. And was considering wearing contacts. So I came to see Dr. Chen. She was so helpful and patient she provided me with a lot of information. Everything in there is clean. I love my contacts they are very comfortable. And looking forward to going back to my annual exams!!

I have been looking for an optometrist for awhile and found Dr. Chen on yelp with a 5 star rating. I came by on a weekend and the office was very clean and inviting. Dr. Chen was very thorough, patient, and definitively made me feel comfortable. She and along with her staff were very nice and provided great customer service. They have wide selection of frames and nice designer sunglasses. I'll totally come back!
