Services
Our office began as James L. Cox, O.D. and Michael M. King, O.D., incorporated in 1973 as a group practice that provided primary vision care and behavioral vision care. Both Dr. Cox and Dr. King have since retired and the name was changed to Optometric Vision Care Associates (OVCA), Inc.
At Optometric Vision Care Associates Inc., each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. Eric Ikeda based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients.Our entire staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient.

Dr. Ikeda is the owner-president of Optometric Vision Care Associates, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside in 1982 and then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in 1986. Dr. Ikeda earned his Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD) in 1992.

Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.

We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
Here at Optometric Vision Care Associates, we truly believe in comprehensive vision examinations. Some conditions we often detect are glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. The sooner we discover these problems, the easier treating them will be. Early detection also gives us the best chance of slowing or reversing any symptoms, including vision loss.
