A visit to Flax Dental is always a treat, as every one of the staff are absolutely top notch! I came here from another state for cosmetic restoration by Dr. Flax, and seven years later I am still making the trip because there is no better dental care available. Late in life I developed a resistance to novocaine - uh oh! Luckily I heard about Dr. Flax and found someone that could treat my cavities with no pain whatsoever. I've always been very impressed at the level of service I receive at Dr. Flax's office - the staff knows me and is super friendly when I come in. I get a warm neck pillow when I'm getting a check up and cleaning, and I feel very relaxed. The whole office is professional and welcoming!

I Inherited this guy when my dentist of 30 years retired and sold his business. I have never had a worse cleaning. Got home to find very obvious coffee stains between my teeth. I drink less coffee than I used to and have never come out of a cleaning with heavy staining still between my teeth. I called to see how the 6 month process worked and that i was interested in getting started to straighten my son 12 yrs old and re-straighten my daughter 19 yrs old teeth.(bad with retainer) The lady seemed irritated with my question and gave me a number to refer my son to since he is under 15 yrs old. She proceeded to hang up and i stopped her and said what about my daughter she is 19 yrs old and i wanted to get info on their 6 month process. This was the last of 4 dentists I visited for "smile consultations". I had braces when I was in high school but was never really good about using my retainers so my teeth are only mostly straight. Since then, I've also had 2 professional bleachings (3 years apart) and more recently, a deep cleaning for gum issues that are starting to become a problem. My point is, my teeth look fine and no one would ever have anything bad to say about them, but they certainly aren't Hollywood perfect either.
