Gordie's has excellent and friendly customer service. Not only did Gordie's technicians provide a very thorough inspection of my vehicle, but once the repairs were completed, they called to see how things were going with my vehicle! You just don't get that kind of personal attention anymore these days.
ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) brakes were designed to help improve stopping distances by preventing your vehicle's wheels from locking up during braking. Under normal circumstances, the ABS brakes will activate when the ABS Module detects the vehicle is about to skid. When the ABS brakes activate, you will feel a very rapid pulse in your brake pedal.
Air conditioning tends to be a popular requirement for a comfortable ride inside most automobiles. Without air conditioning, a summertime drive in the car can go from pleasant to sweltering. Gordie's Garage is fully equipped to handle any air conditioning needs you may require.

Keith and his fellow staff at Gordie's are awesome. This is the only shop I trust with my vehicles and I cannot recommend them enough. My case is likely an outlier but I always get my vehicles back early, and never have to return because of something going overlooked. Also, their online appointment scheduler is nice. The service here is worth every cent.
Edit: I also wanted to comment on the digital inspection communications. Its an extremely good idea that is well executed by staff at Gordie's.

Received reply from Gordie's and no not a mistake sadly because l was referred, l have never been there and l walked in at time you opened, guy seemed upset but said hello, l then ask if l could have my brakes looked at he said "nope you can leave it but it will take at least 4-5 days" just like that....l thought sign stated free brake inspection( l could feel something was wrong with brakes) l left went to another place they could not look at them till around 4pm no biggie and by 5:30 pm they called l needed not brakes but calipers done by 6:30..

Went there to have a used car I've been eyeing inspected. They did an incredibly thorough job, making detailed notes of anything and everything. They even made sure to take pictures along the way. Everything of note was explained in simple, but not condescending, terms. Definitely glad I had them do this for me.

Gordie’s Garage is a gem right in Roseville. A great alternative to the dealership. Amazingly clean shop. All of the gentlemen were polite. They gave me a ride back home and picked me up when car was ready. Accurately diagnosed the problem and had it fixed when promised. Very pleased!

Greedies Garage, Money Grab, Horrible customer service....Dropped the car off Friday morning, called around 9:00 and told Jay that the vehicle was stalling when stopped and that a recent scan of the on board diagnostics indicated that the thermostat needed to be replaced. He said we'll take a look at it. When I went to pick it up I was charged $99.99 for a diagnostic fee, for what? They couldn't find anything wrong with the stalling issue and I all ready told Jay about the thermostat. So please explain the $99.99 diagnostic charge. I have received a lot of repair work through Gordies garage and I've always been very satisfied. But recently I had a repair done to my daughter's vehicle and I found them to be incredibly expensive. After talking to a few other people regarding the repair that I had had done I found out that I was actually charged double what most places would have charged me. The hourly rate I was charge was more than a dealership I have worked with him the past. I was also charged for two hours worth of Labor that other shop said should never take more than one hour for this type of repair. I&apos

Owner happened to graduate from the same high school as me, so I decided to start going here. They've always been great - thorough, good prices, and just nice people overall. In one instance, I had a little less than satisfactory of an experience and they went above and beyond to right the issue. I drive a 2006 Grand Caravan. A vehicle that I acquired after my grandfather passed away. He was not so great at car maintenance, so I didn't know what I was getting myself into with this van, but i needed a car on the fly so I took the chance. I drive a late model Subaru. Since I can't get to the dealership I have used this place twice for oil changes and general maintenance. I was happy both times. The second time I mentioned that I was leaving on a road trip that afternoon. They called me and told me I needed to go to a tire place before I went anywhere, since there was a nail in my tire and it was in a spot that couldn't be repaired. I am glad they checked everything. Finding out about that nail in Ohio at 3 am wouldn't have been any kind of fun in my book.

I came in yesterday asking for an oil change, heater repair and to have a fuel leak patched up in the nozzle hose. They had a waiting list so I had to wait until today to have it looked at, which was no big deal. I got a call from one of their techs(Joe) today stating that they couldn't work on my truck because it has a rusted out coil spring mount. I asked Joe what was wrong with the heater and where the fuel leak was, since I was going to have to do the repairs myself, and he had no idea and stated that he hadn't done the diagnostics yet. The only thing more intimidating about dealing with pushy car salesmen is taking your car to a mechanic -- from routine oil change to major mechanical problems. Needless to say, TRUST is a BIG thing!
When a colleague quit his job because he had an offer to work for Gordie's Garage, it was a bittersweet since, through the course of working together for less than a year, he became a really good friend and my "got to" guy at work BUT at the same time, I gained a mechanic shop that I can go to WITH PEACE OF MIND!
Two weeks after he started work here, I went in for an oil change appointment

I have been going to Gordie's for years and am so glad I have a reliable garage to take my car to. They do a great job, are professional and guarantee their work. Plus, I don't feel like I am being "taken" when I go there. Their shuttle service is a nice added bonus as well.
