At SomaFit PT we are dedicated to providing superior individualized programs to athletes and active people of all ages. Somafit provides the tools to self-heal through precise exercise prescription and manual treatment tailored to the individual needs. We effectively treat all types of conditions ranging from spinal dysfunctions to sports related injuries.
We use ELDOA to correct your posture and to create balance in your structure before the back pain. We improve posture, muscle strength, flexibility, imbalances, and core stability to minimize aches, pains, and fatigue. Ligaments on the inside of the knee are often torn or strained by slowing down and trying to cut, pivot or change directions.
Our training programs are individualized to meet each client's unique needs. The exercise prescription used at SomaFit respect the anatomy and biomechanics of each muscle, as well as the physiology. The exercise selection is very precise and targeted to fully develop the function of the muscle and body.
Articular pumping is a painless treatment aimed at mobilizing the joint fluids within an articulation or "joint." Your body is composed of 70-80% water, more importantly it is composed of water tubes. Pumping stimulates the rhythm of the circulation of the water in these tubes. Proper functioning of an articulation calls for abundance of synovial fluid.

After 8 years of suffering with extreme daily pain and sleepless nights due to intense nerve pain radiating down my neck and arms, after countless visits to neurologists, rheumatologists, and other doctors, after MRI’s, nerve blockers, and steroids, I FINALLY found relief from the methods employed by Terry after just 4 weeks of treatment. The Eldoa method and exercises/stretches that Terry taught me to do at home, on my own time, specifically targeted problem areas that I had been dealing with for years. I honestly thought this would be a life long problem for me but after just weeks of treatment

I've been treating with Terry for 5 years. When I first came to Terry I had been experiencing debilitating back pain from avid golfing. Not only has Terry helped alleviate my pain thru pumping of the spine and neck, he has helped build a training program to get stronger and play better golf. Finally, he has also guided me in the practice of Eldoa to help give me the tools necessary to prevent injury in the future. He is without question the best PT I have ever treated with.

Several months ago, I severely tore my Medial Meniscus playing basketball, and went to see several doctor’s and they all recommended surgery. A friend of mine recommended Terry, and after an initial consultation, Terry recommended that I try PT. At first I was circumspect, but after consulting with a doctor who was opened to PT, I decided to give it a shot. After extensive PT, which included a customized program with targeted exercises, rehab, and hard work, I was able to resume all activities, including basketball. Terry is a genius!

About 2 years ago I came to Terry with a PT script for a strained ankle. It wasn't long before he was treating the rest of my annoying ailments from many years of playing sports and working out. I had issues with my back, neck, hip, shoulder, elbow - this is an embarrassing list. Bottom line - Terry has transformed the way I exercise, how I stretch and what is necessary for me to relieve the pain that comes with playing too much golf or tennis. He is passionate about what he does, extremely knowledgeable and always encouraging. My two college athlete sons have worked with Terry for their injuries

My son who is a nationally ranked tennis player, has been experiencing lower back pain and traveling pain down his leg. After seeing numerous doctors with no consistent diagnosis and being send to several physical therapists, who offered little to no help with the traditional rehab exercises, I was referred to Terry by a tennis coach. Terry was very patient and thorough in his assessment of what was to be expected during the course of the treatment. From the initial visit my son’s symptoms were reduced significantly and he was given an ELDOA based home exercise program on video to maintain the

I am a collegiate tennis player from the University of Louisville. I started working with Terry after I had surgery on my elbow about 2 years ago and have worked with him every since. He has helped me so much, from working through injuries to correcting imbalances in my body and making me strong again. He always makes sure I fully understand any strengthening/stretches/Eldoas he gives me and takes videos of the proper technique so I can have it with me when I go back to school. He is flexible and is always willing to work with me whenever I need it. I Don't know if I would be in one piece without

Terry is amazing! I came to him with a frozen shoulder and within a few weeks my pain had decreased and my range of motion is nearly fully returned. He is professional, knowledgeable and patient. He works with you and teaches you the stretches with photographic/video aids so that you can take them home with you. I am very pleased with my progress and highly recommend!

What do God and SomaFit have in common? They both perform miracles. Through an unorthodox combination of exercises and stretches, SomaFit ensures to leave you in better condition than you came in. I'm currently playing professional tennis on tour and often require quick fixes to issues that have a tendency to persist without the right care. Terry not only improves the condition of the pain, but also gives me information to take home so I can continue to work on it myself.

Terry is a physical therapist like no other. Two and a half years ago I lost full range of motion in my left leg as a result of an arthritic hip. The orthopedist at Hospital for Special Surgery told me the arthritis was very progressed and that I needed a hip replacement. I decided to try physical therapy with Terry first. Within 3 weeks I had full range of motion back. It's two and a half years later and you would never know there is anything wrong with my hip. More recently I have developed a mild case of carpal tunnel. I was waking up in the morning with numbness and pins and needles in my hands
