Beth has always had a love for fashion and hair, which is what led her to attend Arthur Angelo's School of Hairdressing. Having her clients fall in love with their hair all over again is one of her favorite parts of working at the salon. One of her favorite past times is also keeping up with new trends that hit the beauty industry!
Several years ago, Kayla started her journey as a stylist - completing her education at Empire Beauty. Initially, her passion was makeup, but Kayla fell in love with experiencing clients' reactions after seeing their hair glammed. Kayla looks forward to a long career, happy clients, and growing into a master colorist in the future.

Hair It Is is akin to the salon of your dreams. It's a stunning, serene place where you leave feeling confident and stunning. I was fortunate enough to have Kayla as my stylist and colorist, and my husband had the good fortune of having a great hairstylist as well. Despite this being his first time at a fancy salon, they made him feel right at home. Their prices are reasonable, especially for the service they provide. Each stylist was incredibly personable and delightful, making us feel like fast friends. I love my color and we both loved our hair. I would highly recommend this place.

Great first experience waxing. Everything was explained from start to finish. Kaitlyn is exceptional; makes you feel at ease, very friendly, and a great sense of humor throughout the process. I’ll definitely be a returning customer! And being able to book online is the biggest bonus for when busy moms (or non-moms) only remember they need to make an appointment well past closing time 😄

This place is amazing. Not only does this facility do hair, they do manicures, pedicures, waxing, you name it! I got my brazilian wax done here and let me tell you.. Heather is amazing!! When I went for my first time, I was nervous but she can literally talk about anything through the whole experience and you'd be done in a blink of an eye. Like I felt like we were already friends prior to this. Ladies, if you're thinking about getting a Brazilian done, this is the place to go! I now come here every 4 weeks.

This is only the second time getting my hair cut and colored in RI since we moved here. The first salon I went to was good - but on the expensive side. I looked at reviews on Yelp and decided to give Hair It Is a try. I was able to get in on short notice (it was a middle of the day appt) with Beth Anne. She was super nice and very friendly and I felt very comfortable with her. There have been times in the past where I didn't feel totally comfortable with my stylist, so it's really important to me that my stylist be approachable and friendly. Beth Anne definitely is. I went here for a basic wash, cut and dry and was not impressed.
Making an appointment was super easy, and I was able to get in right away with the owner of the salon. The salon is really nicely set up and beautifully designed, so we were off to a good start. She washed my hair, then we went to her station for the cut.
She nonstop kept saying how "thick" my hair was. It was excessive and looking back, now I know why. Every time she switched her hand position she mentioned it again. Like, ok, I get it. No need to keep bringing up. And yes, my hair is thick, but not enough for this

I started going to Crystal a couple years ago based on a recommendation and the fact that at the time they were offering a discount to new referrals (not sure if that's still the policy). I've been very pleased with the cuts and color and recently went from quite long to very short hair and am very happy with the result. Crystal patiently works with me and is very creative and a whiz with blowouts. I find the salon to be very relaxing and comfortable. They also offer discounts on their styling products at times. It's located conveniently just a little ways past the Lincoln Mall.

I am new to the area and called for a last minute appointment. Hair it is was amazing! Not only did they fit me in but they gave me a list of restaurants and places to check out in the area. They even went as far as to give me local magazines! I got a dye, cut, and style and was MORE than impressed. Definitely check this place out- I will be going back for sure!

I'm the type that usually switches around for hair salons. Since coming to Hair It Is, I've been so thrilled. They are professional, mindful of the customer's time, do fabulous coloring and style, and actually are honest if what I want might not be the best for me and make suggestions for alternative styles. Barbara has been doing my hair for years; she is the super best!

I have been going to Hair It is for maybe 8 years now off and on and I have sworn by Cindy every time, but I went recently with my mother and she totally messed up my color on my hair even though she did what I absolutely loved 2.5 years ago with it. I have been going to her for many years and am shocked she threw out my card so she did not know what she had done to my hair years ago, to top it off she added brown to my hair after it was messed up and now you cant see the red AT ALL- so unprofessional and she kept saying oh its gonna be fine and I knew it wasn't and alas, it was not what I

Cant say anything about the actual service because I didn't even make it in...Called to schedule an appointment and has an interesting reaction. I was calling to make sure they had someone that could blow dry really curly hair (not everyone can do it..) and they said they had a few girls that were really good at it. And then I asked if i could bring my own hair color and shampoo and conditioner ( I use non-toxic product) and the lady on the phone said "no, we don't use anything we are not familiar with ...OK??" with no room for me to explain why I am using something special

I made an appointment with two other girls to get our hair done for a wedding. This place and the stylists TOTALLY got our day started on the right note.
I was a few minutes late, but they were nice enough to accommodate me. We all went in for blowouts (one of the girls also got a haircut) and ended up with gorgeous hair!!
Not only that, but I was a bit shy to ask if they would allow us to drink wine that we brought with us. They didn't just let us drink--they brought over chilled wine glasses for us to use! How cool is this place?

For it being my first time getting my hair done here was a great experience. Everyone who works there are so nice and caring and PROFESSIONAL! I've known this place for a few years due to my boyfriend and his family that go for there pampering and I couldn't help but try and I loved it! I'll definitely be coming back. Crystal did an awesome job on my hair - got so many compliments!
