She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of St. Thomas, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, Texas' preeminent optometry program.

Services
It is always recommended that patients are seen for an annual comprehensive eye exam. It is important to have your eyes evaluated annually, because your eyes can be the first key to detecting other systemic problems. We are able to offer visual field testing which can help to diagnose glaucoma, strokes, tumors, or optic nerve or macula irregularities.
The retinal camera documents the inside of the eye in order to detect and manage many pathologies, including Diabetes, Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma. This test allows the doctor to follow any changes from year to year. At Vision First, we use the Humphrey Field Analyzer for visual field testing.

Vision First in the Highland Village Walmart always has exceptional service at the front desk and in the office. I come here for my eye exams, prescription, and contact needs and they are able to easily help me with all of these while creating a comfortable environment. I would recommend this office to anyone needing eye care because it is affordable and convenient (you can schedule appointments on the phone).

I had a wonderful experience with this vision appointment. I appreciated being notified with several reminders via text. Upon arrival, I was the only patient allowed into the office. . All Covid-19 precautions Including questions and Temperature were taken. In addition, I was required to wash my hands in the exam room! The Dr was thorough with the exam and patient with my questions. She wore PPE during my appointment. My appointment took less than 30 minutes from beginning to end. I felt this vision office had all possible measures in place to prioritize my safety. I would highly recommend Vision
