Enrolling in USA Karate Shakopee has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I feel strong, confident and love learning something new each class. Mr. Roell cares about each of his students and does everything he can so we can succeed. He works with us and pushes us to be our best. Mr. Roell is knowledgeable, kind and really awesome!
I truly look forward to going to karate and can’t wait to sign the rest of my family up.
Mr. Roell has also hosted a Ladies group self defense class and a kids self defense/ stranger danger class that we loved! Can’t recommend this studio enough!

Mr. Roell is a phenomenal martial arts instructor. My son has been going to USA Karate for many years and Mr. Roell has made a very positive impact in his life. Now my son and I take adult classes together, which is an incredible experience and great bonding and together time with my son. Learning martial arts has been a life long goal of mine and I am now achieving that goal. I can’t say enough great things about USA Karate and Mr. Roell.

Our son has been attending USA Karate Shakopee for 7 months and we have been extremely happy with the positive impact it has had on him in his life. When our son first started he was shy and would not advocate for himself. Within 1 month, we saw some good changes. He is excited to go to class, he speaks up more at home and in school. He enjoys going to school because he is a lot more confident with his actions with interacting with his peers and teachers. We are truly enjoying our experience at USA Karate Shakopee with our toddler. Jake is very patient with the super kids group, and often involves parents. It makes for a fun session for all. We also found the schedule to be flexible for the tuition. You have the freedom to attend any two classes a week. We chose what worked best for our work schedules- yet, we aren’t committed and have to option to change. It’s a memorable and affordable activity for our son!

Mr. Roel at USA Shakopee is an amazing karate instructor. He is so good with the kids and does a great job of combining fun and martial arts. This has been great for teaching my boys discipline and self defense as well as help them work on focusing. My husband and I also take the adult karate class. This is fulfilling a life long dream.

My 6 and 9 year old boys have been taking classes at USA karate for a little over a year. I have loved seeing their progress.
My 9 year old was fairly timid and lacking confidence. I've noticed a huge improvement in his self confidence and self discipline. His performance in school has improved and he's even had an easier time making friends and bullies don't seem to bother him much anymore.

We as a family feel joining USA Karate Shakopee was the best choice for us. Mr. Roell is such an awesome professional instructor. He has the gift of helping my sons focus on themselves. And because of that they are always learning, discipline, focus, confidence, and self-defense, in the adults martial arts classes.

Both my kids have been enrolled for about two years. USA Karate has definitely had an impact on their self confidence, physical strength, and is a great year-round option for keeping them active. They’ve also learned about setting and working on goals, and are developing the discipline to achieve them. Instructor Roell has a great firm but caring approach to his students and has been a great influence on my kids. Highly recommend.

USA karate is an excellent place for kids. Mr Roell is great with the little kids (preschool age) keeps them focused and they have so much fun all while learning great defense skills. For older beginners, he runs a great program which keeps them interested and learning new things each week. Highly recommend!

One of the best decisions we made was to enroll our daughter at USA Karate Shakopee. She loves attending classes here and we have seen an improvement in her form and in her self confidence. Mr. Roell goes above and beyond with each student, is an amazing instructor and is fantastic with kids. I would highly recommend USA Karate Shakopee.
