Services
We're in the heart of Sonoma Valley's Carneros region and five generations have lived and worked this land. What began as a dairy farm, transitioned into the home of the largest rodeo in Northern California from 1928 to 1950's. We planted our first vineyard in 1978 and when we made more wine than we could drink, we opened the winery about a decade later.
Today, the Larson portfolio of wine reflects the renowned quality and diversity of Sonoma and Mendocino viticulture. Our winemaking team begins with impeccable fruit grown in our estate vineyards, by our seasoned and expert vineyard crew. We use great attention to detail at every step in the growing process to preserve the purity of each distinct variety and clone, all while keeping sustainability and stewardship at the forefront of our process.
Groups of 10 or more must book through our Reservations department, and we cannot take requests to seat separate parties together upon arrival. We currently do not host evening events or weddings. One of the perks of membership - members get to enjoy this dedicated area with their own bar! Make a reservation and bring friends or family to join in a tasting at Larson.

I was in the area so came here for a walk-in tasting. I enjoyed their wines and the Chardonnay blew me away. I bought a few bottles for Thanksgiving.
Service was quite slow, I couldn't even finish my tasting, and the guy was new so it was a bit difficulty to pick wines, etc.
Never the less, I saw lots of dogs and kids there, so it seamed an amazing place to bring the family, and I definitely would go again. Plus, I was happy they allowed walk-ins obviously, so appreciated that.
Come by if you're in the area.

Without a doubt some of the friendliest, most welcome service I've encountered in all of wine country. The folks at Larson really make you feel like part of the family as you relax in their outdoor tasting space while 3 beautiful labs lounge about, eagerly waiting to get some pets from new friends:)
Really an excellent family experience, if I had kids I would absolutely bring them here!

Such a relaxing atmosphere. Very peaceful outside. Dogs roaming around, breezy, just a great atmosphere for tasting wine and getting away from the city. Love the Three Lab Cab and all of the sparkling wines. The staff will always make recommendations and are very knowledgeable about every wine there. Love making the trip to Larson.

I would like to change my rating to 5 stars. Larson Family Winery fully redeemed themselves! Larson invited us back and my husband and I brought our family there over Labor Day weekend for a tasting. Everything was awesome. We joined the club and we are very excited to be a part of their winery family!

We started coming this year and have been pleasantly surprised with how family friendly and nice everyone is! We are able to come and sit and relax and enjoy the views and tastings with our family! We became club members to get great deals! Bob has waited on us many times and he is always festive, fun and very informative! Highly recommend!

So much fun. One of my favorite wineries !! The staff is super friendly, beautiful outdoor space & dog friendly!!! Such a neat place and the wine is delicious. Highly highly recommend ! We had Maddy on Saturday for our tasting appt and she was so sweet and accommodating. Thank you Maddy & Larson for being one of the best!

Loved it. We signed up for early tastings. We were the first to arrive and we're immediately greeted by these three most friendly labrador dogs of three different colors. They escorted us to a man who greeted us warmly and gave us a quick run down then told us to sit anywhere we liked outside. The dogs then escorted us to our table outside, only asking for pets as reward then plopped on the floor in the sun to nap. We were then served a delicious flight, really enjoyed the experience and the wines

This place is horrible! They stole from me and my family after canceling our tasting. I canceled it cause my son has covid and they told "oh well." Trash service and thieves. Shame on this management and not to mention its not that great of wine. There millions of wineries in the Sonoma and Napa Valley's don't go to this one find a different one!

We were visiting Sonoma with another family and Larson seemed to be super kid friendly so we made the tasting bookings in advance. I must say its a great place to spend a lovely afternoon. Our server was great and very accommodating. The wine tasting was decent and the charcuterie options were great too. They have 3 Labs roaming around on the property who are super gentle and ours kids had a good time playing and petting them. Would love to come again with Girlfriends soon

Booked a reservation through tok, as reservations are mandatory during covid times. Their outside patio is gorgeous and spacious- and they even have a special area for their members. You have a view of their grapes, and there is a bocce ball court and labs to socialize with. Service was great. Restrooms clean and sanitizer provided. The issue is that I was not a fan of their wines. We did the best of flight which was $35 a person. IMO, too much tannin and not enough aging. Some people may like their wine this way but it was not to my liking.

Was first introduced to this place for a corporate outing and fell in love with the place because of their 3 cute adorable labs! Having our own lab - we of course had to come back.
The following time we visited with some friends visiting from out of town, the experience was just as great. Our lab loved Ollie, Louie and Roscoe! And had a great time frolicking with them in the yard area. The namesake - 3 lab cab is a definite winner and since signing up for their wine club, have found that we really like the regular cab as well!

Larson Family Winery one of the most pet/kid friendly wineries I've been to. I don't normally associate wineries and kids together, but I'm sure there are a lot of adults with kids who would love to wine taste, and feel that their kids were welcome too. Unfortunately, wineries like that are rare. Larson Family WInery is an exception.
Located in the Sonoma Valley, Larson is just down a dirt road from a major Sonoma Valley thoroughfare. The vibe is "old barn" and family is welcome. The tasting room is actually in a barn, and in the back is a large grass area, bocce ball, picnic tables and beautiful
