Shreveport is the third-largest city in the state of Louisiana and the 113th largest city in the United States. Because of Louisiana's status as "Hollywood South, " a number of films have been made in Shreveport, making it an ideal place for those in the film industry to settle down.
In addition to film, Shreveport is home to several theatres, museums, and performing arts groups, including The Stand Theatre, the Southern Museum of Art, and the Shreveport Metropolitan Museum.Shreveport also features many events such as the High Jazz & Blues Festival, the Louisiana Film Prize, and of course, Mardi Gras, which began in Shreveport in the mid-19th century when parade krewes were organized along the lines of those in New Orleans.

I have been a resident of this complex for over 4 years. I have never had a reason to not pay or to say I paid but did not pay my rent. HOWEVER, for June 2021, I received a money from my bank on Friday, 6/4/21. I dropped the money order in the drop box (as I ALWAYS do) on midnight Saturday night going over into Sunday. I received a letter today 6/14 stating I had a remaining balance of $40 as a late fee. I contacted asst. Mgr Gina Dixon who stated it had to be placed in Dropbox by the 5th or its late. I stated my bank statement is dated 6/4 and was in box by midnight that Saturday 6/5 so I PAID

We recently had to relocate to another state due to my career. I broke the lease in October and gave 30 day notice and paid rent for the month of November on the empty apartment. I also paid $1500 to break the lease which honestly I have no issue with as well. I received a $600 bill for damages to the unit and call to discuss this with the manager Shay. The level of unprofessional behavior was astounding. I had to stop the conversation as say “Shay we are having a discussion not a argument”. She was so loud my daughter actually came out of her bedroom to see who was raising the voice at me

I moved into Village at Westlake last Saturday. Where do I begin???? Roach City!!! On the day of move in, my toilet ran continuously. I completed the walk through Sunday night and noticed my master bedroom DID NOT have a lock, pantry cabinet was ripped on the side in the kitchen...literally...the refrigerator was cracked, several doors had green marks, paint missing, or stains!!! The porch has golden spray paint on the floor. The front tile when you enter is cracked, the front door still has a gap when locked, you have to fight with it to lock properly. Two window screens had holes in them, and

I have to walk outside just to use my cell phone. I’m missing a lot of important calls. Last month my renters insurance company which is through the apartment, attempted to email and fax my proof of insurance and the mangers didn’t check their emails or fax. The renter company did confirm the fax number and address. I’m tired of the confusion.

My husband and I had to move here do to our house burning down. Our insurance got us the apartment. The staff were awesome! Super nice and efficient and friendly. We have been here 4 months and haven't had any problems. Nice swimming pool and the apartments are nice and spacious. The only complaint that I have is there isn't enough parking by your apartment. We are moving out next week only because our new house is ready. If for some reason in the future we need an apt ( hopefully not but ya never know) I wouldn't have any problem living here again

Was hoping to love it here. You can only have comcast services for internet, was not told this at move in. Water pressure sucks. We pay good money to live here. Nonresidents are always at the pool. Pool doesn't stay clean. I live by two neighbors that smoke drugs, So I can't use my balcony when I want. My children complain about the smell. Maintenance is great. You will need them trust me. You can tell the place is running down aesthetically. My lease is up in a few months and I will not renew.

The apartments have a great look but have many flaws. Our apartment is basically infested with mold, they will send maintenance to clean it with spray but it grows back within a week. Mold even grows in our toilet! Seriously considering having a health inspector go through our apartment. It is absolutely disgusting, this has caused me to get a rash several times and my husbands allergies to go crazy. Thank goodness our lease is almost up.
