Dr. Doty received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1983. He continued his education at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1987. After graduation, Dr. Doty was among a select group to be employed by the College of Dentistry as an instructor for the summer clinics.

If you want a dentist that doesn't lecture you, is completely transparent about what needs to be done (and why) and does their job extremely well, Doty's office is the place to go. These guys operate at a level of professionalism that you can trust. They are EXTREMELY meticulous: I'm talking face shields, fancy gadgets, clean tools, massage chairs and pinpoint accurate work. I've never seen anything like it. I would not be surprised if the level of dental work offered here was competitive on a national level, let alone the best in this county.

Being new to town, finding health care can be a challenge. Dr. Doty and his staff are more than professional, they are personal as well. They were sensitive to my anxiety about dental care and spent the time needed with me, without making me feel rushed. Brittany, my hygienist, was gentle and communicated with me throughout my cleaning, so I could understand exactly how things were going. I highly recommend this dentist and will certainly trust him and his staff with my dental needs! (they even hand wrote a thank you note after my visit!)

Back in March my husband and I came to southwestern Virginia to isolate from COVID-19. Yesterday I had a dental emergency and am extremely grateful that Dr. Doty and his team were able to see me and make the necessary arrangements to take care of my mouth. Everyone was kind and friendly. Thank you for getting me on the road to recovery so quickly.

I had a dental emergency that I needed taken care of immediately. The staff at the office were helpful, kind and accommodating.
