How long is my lease term? We offer 7-12 month lease terms. There is a short-term lease premium of $200 per month for any lease term shorter than 12 months. What deposits are required? Security deposits start at $600 and can go up to one month (based on credit). Is renter's insurance required? Yes, we do require renter's insurance and it must provide coverage for a minimum of $100,000 in legal liability protection.

I’d give 0 or negative stars if I could. This place is horrible. Don’t move here. The problems took a couple of months to kick in. First it was the AC. Not working properly. They refused to replace it, told me there was nothing they could do for 6 mos!! Finally, after calling and bothering them enough times, they replaced the whole AC unit. Then packages in the mail room were being stolen, including mine. Again, all they know to say is “I’m sorry”. Then staff got my truck scratched and dented in multiple places (reserved parking that I paid monthly for) because it was in the way of them

Port Royale is located in a prime part of Fort Lauderdale. But, they accept anyone with a pulse, and the neighbors are absolute slobs. These pictures were taken to show you how the grounds look on a regular basis. The building has never been pressure cleaned, and the walls are absolutely filthy. The photographs on the website make the place look amazing. But, when you arrive and see it in person, you will know it's a sham. My lease says in writing that my apartment was 'sterilized' by a 'cleaning company'. It was not even cleaned. When you move into a new apartment, you do so with the expectation

Don't move here. You will a million percent regret it. They paint a picture that it's so great but once you're locked into a lease they treat you terribly and neglect your apt. Every issue I had either didn't get resolved or was resolved months later. It was by far one of the worst living experiences. Also you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. We couldn't park our scooter anywhere without some kind of warning (not even in a parking spot), yet bikes were fine. My little brother got in an accident on the property and we got a warning for it which made no sense. They

Horrible neighbors. If you want to stay up all night on a work night you should live here! The walls are paper thin and can hear literally everything from the conversations, footsteps, music, bass in the background, loud cars, list goes on….
I had an unfortunate event where I told my neighbors to keep it down while they were partying and drinking before going out and their friends ended up throwing a drink, threatened me, yelled at me at me at 3 AM on a Sunday night. Classy. This is unacceptable.

On the move in date, apartment was dirty and the tub in the bathroom was damaged.
The balcony/patio floor was painted over dog hair. The washing machine’s hose was not connected and during the first wash a lot of water got onto the floor.
If you think that they fixed all the problems and everything turned for the better, wrong again.
The washing machine breaks all the time/makes horrible sounds because the mounting system is messed up. The office and maintenance refuse to replace it and they fix it with zip ties to balance. They even refuse to order the new mounting system and replace

I feel inclined to write this review because my experience, and the service I received has been absolutely exceptional. What makes Port Royale so fabulous is the one and only Blair Tallini. Blair went above and beyond to meet all my needs. She is extraordinary at what she does, and I am so grateful to have had such an excellent experience renting at Port Royale. The grounds are beautiful, the amenities are outstanding. The apartment was exactly what I had hoped for. If you are lucky enough to find an apartment here you will understand. I am so happy!

Good overall for the price. The amenities are nice and kept up. Love both pools. The apartments could get some updating and I believe they are working on it when they can. Keep in mind the kitchen in my unit is small and cabinets that you think would be big enough for a regular sized dinner plates probably won't. They do mask rusting drains in bathtub and sink with some coating but it washes away within a few months. I wish they would just replace these items. The lighting in the bathroom is oddly placed in that the sink is on the far left and the lighting is on the far right. So

I've been living here almost 6 months and would highly recommend Port Royale Apartments to anyone who is looking for a nice place to live. When moving in we found everyone at the leasing center to be friendly and helpful. Blair found an apartment for us quickly and with the criteria we were looking for. In the following days, Blair and Scott- the Leasing Manager, helped us smoothly through the rental process. Chris from maintenance deserves to be recognized (and given a raise!) as he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure his tenants are well taken care of. He has always been very attentive to responding to any issue I’ve had while living here and always very open in communication if something was going to be longer than expected. He always follows up and can tell he is someone who truly cares about the job he does. Port Royale is lucky to have him as part of their team.

If I could have given a negative score I would've. This place is beyond a joke. The office are completely incompetent and will charge whatever and whenever. My friend has now been charged 3 times for the month of November alone. The office doesn't answer the phone and loves to ignore any and all complaints. Not to mention the maintenance here sits around riding on golf carts all day. They don't fix anything till you have to actively search for them all around the complex and won't get to it until you have to you fix it yourself. Also you're car is gonna get stickers on
