Philip Vitanzo from Veriguard was excellent. His home inspection was thorough and highly detailed. He treated the whole process as if his family was moving into the home. After the inspection, Phil gave us a tour and pointed out areas of concern. He answered all of our questions, and he was straightforward. Phil is extremely professional and highly recommended.

Phil is a great home inspector. He was very honest and thorough. He was honest when he told us that we really did not need a termite and radon inspection. He was also very patient as my mom was with him and I was present through Facetime. He was always quick to respond and answer all my questions. We got water in the basement during the recent storm and I smelled what I thought was mold after the carpet dried so I looked for the mold inspection company with the best reviews. Smart move on my part because I found Phil. He responded to the message I left within the hour and came 2 days later. After inspecting all 3 floors he assured us there was no mold anywhere, just a little mildew that he told me how to get rid of myself. What a relief! Before you call a mold remediation company, call Phil and find out if it's really necessary to spend so much money.

What can I say that others haven't already said about Phil? During Summer 2020 (peak pandemic) he came to inspect not one but two houses for us. He was extremely forthcoming and honest with both inspections. He gave us clear feedback in a way that was easy for us to understanding. Buying a house, especially for the first time, can be very daunting. Let alone 9 months pregnant, as I was. It is hard to know who to trust in the process. Phil is truly that neutral third party you need to help you figure out if a home is right for you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Most importantly, his report clearly demonstrates major issues that become issues for buyers. This greatly helped us to make our ultimate decision on the property. His report also demonstrated life cycles of everything and how things should be maintained for the sake of property's value and life span which is really helpful for the buyers

Phil’s 5 star reputation is no mistake. I was under a lot of pressure to have an inspector come under very short notice. Phil is a very professional and knowledgeable individual. He has a vast amount of tools to help bring to light any problems a home may or may not have. He explains things clearly and gave us a lot of information that could potentially help / make our lives a lot easier.
