Advances in medical technology will always create effective tools at treating diseases. However, just as a grand piano can enhance the depth of a sound, at the heart of the piece, is the soul of the pianist. At Plyo, we believe in the same ideal. Tools are great at treating symptoms, but at the heart of them, is the mind of the clinician.
As a result, our mission, is to continually develop and train the mind, spirit and compassion of the clinician in order to better help society. Our physical therapists undergo advanced training and tirelessly work together in order to understand your needs.

I've been working with Caesar and Ritchie over the last month due to post op recovery of my right knee and hip. I was seeing another physical therapist but the pain did not seem to subside. Over the past month these two have gotten my pain down to 0, and now are working on me finally getting back to an active lifestyle. Thank you guys for everything looking forward to the continued progression!

I started working with the guys at Plyo a year ago due to a groin injury caused during jiu jitsu practice. They did an amazing job working on my injury and keeping my body healthy. Now with a healthy body we have been doing strength and conditioning training to help me prepare for my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions. Highly recommend!

I recently finished my second PT experience with Ritchie and Caesar and I can’t say enough about them. I had severe pain in my hip and lower back (xrays showed some arthritis) which has been a problem for me for years. Ritchie got to the core of the problem and designed a unique therapy based on how I responded to different types of exercises and stretches. “It’s about finding the right medicine (exercises) and dosage”. I have a daily routine now that I follow on my own and am pain free. These guys are the best.

After almost two years of seeing several back specialists and therapists, both here and in Europe, with little improvement in my pain, a doctor recommended Ritchie. I went to him, even though I live 1.5 hours away, but the drive was so worth it. It took him a few visits to figure out what all the others missed: my back pain originated in the hip. He was able to alleviate my pain considerably, but it got to a point at which he insisted that I got an MRI because I was not responding to treatment. Of course, he was right: I needed surgery. Ritchie doesn´t just treat the problem area, but he looks

I'm the owner of Training Grounds Jiu-Jitsu & MMA in westwood. I send ALL of my students here if they get injured. However I send them to Ritchie and Jin not only to heal any injuries to but correct the imbalances in their bodies that cause injuries in the first place. The first time I met RItchie I hadn't been able to look left for three months and always had to sleep on one side. After one session my neck was fine. I"m not saying that will happen all the time but I do know that my students come back quicker and more structurally sound and this is something I have objectively observed over a few

I was beginning to accept my constant back and hip pain from an auto accident several years ago. I had tried massage therapy, acupuncture, other physical therapy, and chiropractic. I'd be fine for a while and then in pain again. I learned about Jin and Ritchie through a good friend and neighbor. Though I've always been resistant to home exercises and cynical about the factory-like atmosphere of most PT centers, I found my experience with PLYO changed that. When I saw the skill and dedication with which they worked- one-on-one for a full hour, I felt committed to work as hard as they do. The results

Ritchie is one of the best there is! We have a Jiu-jitsu school in Westwood and my husband and I are always going and amazed every time at the results. Today after doing decompression therapy for a herniated disk I could barely walk and then one hour later after hobbling into Ritchie's for a PT session I was virtually pain free when walking. These guys know how to help and treat several of our students who are involved in contact sports. Highly recommended!

I have been seeing mostly Ritchie but also Jin for several years now. They have saved me! I was told I would need knee replacement and referred to PT and learned through my sessions at Plyo that it wasn't my knee but the muscles that attach to my knee! At one point, I did something at the gym where I couldn't even walk or bend my knee and they got me moving by the end of that session! My knees are now great and I work out at the gym 3-4 times a week with no problem. I have had the dry needling on many occasions and it relieved my pain and discomfort almost immediately. They do serious PT (one on

Plyo Physical Therapy is revolutionizing the way therapists treat patients. I met the owner and physical therapist Ritchie Kim a year ago to treat a neck injury sustained in a car accident. He was referred to me by my father who found him in an article in Golf Digest. I was pleasantly surprised by Ritchie's passion to expand his skills, his vast knowledge of body mechanics and loving compassion for his patients. Most of his patients find him via word of mouth, which I find is the most reassuring referral method.

I have been to a few physical therapist's in the past for my chronic lower back problems. all of them were only able to temporarily relieve my pain unfortunately the problems would persist. thats where Ritchie Kim and Plyo pt differ from all the rest. Ritchie didn't just address pain issues but he was able to figure out the root causes of my pain the weak spots in my body that caused my back to be overworked and hurt all the time. i work in a martial arts academy so its important to have my body pain free and Plyo made that possible. i practice jiu-jitsu and love to kick box and after working with
