Finally tried out this Pizza and wine market in Pineville. First of all I am so happy that Pineville has now a variety to pick from and if you live close by You don’t have to drive far for good food. We went for lunch to Margaux‘s and while the food was delicious, the prices were a little high. That is the reason why I am giving 4 stars. I picked the lasagne which was so flavorful. The rest of the crew went for the Italian and Cuban sandwich. The sides are potato chips, for $14 sandwiches a size of fries or salad would have been great. I did read during the week they have $10 lunch specials

Went with a group of four, it was our first time going, and we had one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Our server “D” (I believe she said her name was Diana, apologize if I got it wrong!) was amazing. Her personality and recommendations were great. We ordered quite a few things to share around the table since it was our first time going, and all the food was so good it was hard to pick a favorite. Unique pizza place in the heart of Pineville. Uniquely delicious pizza to get you away from the normal pizza joint. However, they also have other tasty items. My wife had the meatball sandwich which was also a hit with my son. The wine list is extensive, you’re sure to find something to your taste. The atmosphere was also a unique pallet, inviting and easy on the eyes. The chairs were hard and not too comfortable, that’s just my personal opinion and seriously the only downside for me.

Pizza sauce very dry, with poor quality products (tomato sauce and cheese). Lasagna arrived cool to lukewarm. Returned lasagna to be heated. No apology or concern by staff. Wine grossly overpriced. Asked for a glass of house red wine. Charged $12 a glass for mediocre wine. All above very unfortunate because the location and ambiance of Margaux’s is very appealing. I had hoped the service and food would match the appearance, but we left severely disappointed. They lost 2 customers who are new to the area, but will find elsewhere to eat.

Love this place! Menu includes thin crust pizzas, salads, sandwiches, charcuterie boards, etc. This is NOT fast casual. The food is excellent! Margaux's is located in the historic downtown part of Pineville. Very cute area. They even have sidewalk tables. You can park behind the restaurant. I love the Cappricciossa pizza and the Cuban sandwich. They have a good wine selection, but no full bar, at this point.
